Nice one Jay!

Only thing about the eggs I know is that they've been mixed with the Gumballs, and some of the serie 3 figs in those vending machines back in the days. No idea on ratio about these fellow but the fact that these are so small might have resulted in the fact there are not much out there anymore.

Do they still have the Japanese sticker on the bottom!?

What is gashapon? One side of the egg is clear and one side has a slight Matt finish. The paperwork has a photo of a blue lion as beast on the back.

The Gashapon are the (clear) eggs that can be aquired from the vending machines in Japan.

Both gashapon and gachapon are Japanese onomatopoeia, made up of two sounds: "gasha" or "gacha" for the turning of a crank on a toy vending machine, and "pon" for the sound of the toy capsule dropping into the receptacle. It is used to describe both the machines themselves, and any toy obtained from them.

Egg and pamphlet are similar to the ones that came in other BB capsules I found the same with my unhatched Penguin and the Gumball Lion that came in an egg to.

Eric is right about it! These SD figs did come in the eggs as mentioned before but so did the Gumball figures and a few of the Serie 3 figures. When you look at the pamphlet that's found within the egg you'll see half of the figs that you could get wihtin the Gachapon Eggs. In case you have two of these pamphlets you might find the full amount of figs that came within the eggs if you have the two different ones.

I have two pamphlets one that came with my Penguin and the other with the Gumball but these were the same so its only showing half of the known gumball figures and also a part of the SD figs.

Maybe you can take a shot of the pamphlet?
I believe I've updated mine in the topic about the Unhatched Soldier.

When the other pamhplet is also showing that amount of SD figs its clear that the ratio of getting a SD figure within a Gachapon is much higher than a gumball or even a normal BB figure. Which might have made these gumballs already the chase figures back in the days.

*I've heard some rumors about Gachapon Beast Saga figures as well but not sure if this'll become reality but I wouldn't be surprised to see these filling the Gachpon vending machines in Japan soon. In that case we would have much smaller BS figures which might be more similar to the size of the original BB maybe gumball like!? Sure I'll get some Yen's into those machines than ;)*

I could be wrong, but I believe just the gold Meiji cards came in the candy boxes, not the figures themselves. I've never seen an unopened Meiji box though so I can't confirm.

Wow real cool packaging. I just got a blue lion and a shark in the post to add to them. Plus another three in the post my SD army is growing fast.
