Monster Marbles

They're about an inch around, nicely painted little creatures that remind me of so many Japanese RPGs, each has a metal ball core making it heavy as heck but it will glide on surfaces. The hubby and I got four packs of three but alas three of our packs were the same combo of three specific marbles so they're not completely randomized as we hoped (or we hit really unlikely odds).
4 of the molds we got. The paint is really cute.
My favorite
Outside of the bag.
They also have a website though it's lacking: mymonstermarbles.com
Has anyone else seen these?

Wonder if we'll ever see them in the UK?
My comics blog - mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 1980s and 1990s
Collection Piccies!
Identify these toys?
WANT/NEED! Warmonger (from Mighty Max's Skull Mountain), will trade for Alien Magic!

I searched the web a bit and it looks like these were launched in the UK first, I have no idea what retailers but they're there somewhere. As for finding them over here they were in the section with the generic toys (Roxx, yoyos, bubbles, and other cheaper stuff), hope that helps!
Looked at Walmart, unfortunately nowhere in sight.

I went and bought another pack and was all the same as the first one. *sad panda*
If I ever find them, I will be willing to trade doubles...none of the Walmarts have them here in CA yet

I swear if I buy one more and it is the the 4th same set I am going to rage lol
Don't feel bad I've gotten three bags of the same combo as well. I want to trade my doubles but I'm waiting until I find a full set (all the different molds at least) before I trade as they're so heavy shipping multiples together will be better, probably in flat rate envelopes.

Got a couple packs at a Target recently too, but they were 2-packs instead of 3. Still blind bagged. They had them with trading cards, Predasaurs, and other blind bag stuff.

Bruce - Roo - ICU
Bruce - Roo - ICU - duplicate pack
Bruce - Roo - ICU - another duplicate pack
Nur (clear) - Alweye - ICU
4 packs, net 4 new figures. Bummer. Although I gave a pack to my son, so he was happy to have 3. They are cheap enough to keep buying.
So it looks like a lot of packs are definitely duplicate, but there is some randomization there (hence ICU in the 4th pack, although he did have a slightly cleaner wash then the other 3).

I also noticed that there was blue chalk with 3 of the packs, so that might be an indicator of assortments. Although all the rest I've bought so far have had yellow chalk. And I noticed numbers on the back, maybe assortment numbers?
