1. What language is it?
It is Greek
2. What does it say?
Ichthus (ikh-thoos) or ichthys is the Greek word simply meaning “fishâ€￾
The Greek spelling for ichthus is Iota, Chi, Theta, Upsilon, and Sigma. The English translation is IXOYE. The five Greek letters stand for the words meaning, “Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior.â€￾
3. Why was it used?
It was used by Christians in the early church to know someone was a believer. There was alot of persicution from Rome up until Constantine, so it was there sort of "sign" to flash one another. Someone would draw the upper half of the fish in the dirt and if another Christian saw it they would draw the bottom half making a fish.

I made this a question cause I knew most people would have to dig to get the answer.....it required work. And usually when you have to work for something, you tend to remember it more. So since this contest is about people getting to know me, I had to put this in. I am a Christian, and that is how people see me in the real world and how I want to be seen. So I figured that I should be seen that way on here too.

I was going to post the question last night, but I got distracted watching my brother play Budokai Tenkaichi. Which brings me to my next question....2 points
My younger brother is 22, sometimes a pain in the butt, and pinheaded.....literally. He is great though, I wouldnt change him for the world. My question is, what is wrong with my brother?

B. Autism

C. MS

D. Fragile X Syndrome

Ok the answer is......A. Down syndrome. It was somewhat of an easier question IF you did a little research on the things I listed. Down syndrome is the only one out of the 4 listed that is caused by a chromosome defect. In the 21st chromosome there is an extra "leg" on the X.
