haha. i love that newest one battlechaser7. the slain mount in the mid-ground between the two fighters it excellent. great work. i think you should start a weekly/daily (whichever you can handle) comic strip of this type in the member's fan art. it reminds me of something you might see in heavy metal or other serial magazines.

i think it's amazing you're able to keep pumping them out and maintain a consistent level of quality. they've all been great and i love seeing the new ones as you post them. i wish i had your industry.

for pens i use pigma micron pens. they're reasonably priced and do a pretty good job. you can get a small variety of head sizes which can be nice. they're available in 005, 01, 03, 05 & 08 as far as i know. you can get other colors but other than the red & black ones they're kind of lame. you could buy more expensive pen sets, but with the schizophrenic nature of pens, i suggest these quality pens with the much lower price tag. don't be afraid to try them out before you buy them though. take a small piece of paper and make sure the pens aren't dried out. i once bought a couple from this art supply store by my house and they turned out to be super old and were just about dried out. cost me a trip back to replace them. bastitchs. for big areas of fill get a prismacolor dual head marker. they're awesome. you could also get a flat marker or a brush marker, but i've no experience with them. you'll need to get a good brand from someone else.

For my rock poster parody entry, I didn't think skeletor was 'rockin' enough, so here is the retooled skeletor. Will have a horde of menacing boglins below him, including a boglin bandof my own creation.

Keep em coming, Chris! When the polls come around for this challeng, be sure to have all your pages as one entry. Around challenge three or four, I did the same kind of thing, but in the votes my entries were split up. Did not go well.

This is good advice, but try to resize your pics and drop them all in one post if possible. These things are getting more and more entries, and as far as i can tell each post has a 10MB upload limit. I guess i could always split the entries into two posts if it becomes necessary, but one post looks nicer i think and creates less confusion.

Also, Reccoom, you are fantastic. I love it.

I honestly do not expect to be taken seriously in this art challenge I am just enjoying myself : )
I am going to PM an admin and ask if they will move my posts to 1. I remember someone deleting there posts and that causing some problems I don't want to edit and create confusion..or become confused. I only have 2 more pages I want to do 1 I did at work tonight and one to finish off my idea. I will wait to post until everything gets moved.

that rules ghost lion! i love how you integrated the fire and water symbols into the he-man and skeletor armor. great job. it also reminds me of the old mini-comics too.

Here's my entry...it's on 11x14" Bristol board, so i couldn't scan it. I'm going to try to get a more glare-free picture up for the actual voting but i wanted to go ahead and get it submitted a little bit ahead of time.

I really dont feel like I have much say so in these since I can NOT draw at all. However, this topic is mixing two of my favorites. He-Man & LRG, which is battle beasts for me, and I have seen some pretty kick arse ones so far. I really like them all.
