I found this over the weekend - had 26 of the 30 figures still in it - (filled the last 4 out of collection) I don't know how often or if anyone has seen or has this box - so putting it up here for future reference - note names given to the 48 different figures shown on back - manufactured by Happiness Express Inc. and dated 1991

Yes, excellent. Could I perhaps use these for Toypedia at some point in the future?

Cracking stuff.

Thanks also for making these images smaller than the ones in your other thread, like most people here I have real issues downloading pictures over 1MB.

Does anyone know for sure that each Dino Brite sculpt was only available in a single colour? All of mine have the same colours as the ones in this image and, indeed, others I have seen.

No problem was bugging me too - from what I can tell from the back illustrations - they do match the figures - which means somewhere in the world there could be a "woolly rhino" and a "Brontosaurus being ridden by a caveman" - too cool

Ooh, many many years ago, on a day off school, we went to Toys R Us and I got this very set. Still got MOST of the dinosaurs, but not the box - these images'll be useful for identifying which ones I still have. Nice find.

I never really gave this a thought but now you mention it, all mine are the same colours as these.
Just one question do the figures that came with the box have Panosh 86 or China as the mark?
Also Dina does exist I have her however the caveman on the back looks real crap.

c 87 PANOSH marked on the Dino Mites figures,
c 87 PANOSH marked on the Dino Brites(painted ones).
Got both versions of VICTOR in green for Dino Mites and Brites,
and an orange DINA for Dino Brites.
-- Are these 2 figures rare?? --

But popculturizm's box has 5 darker reds(the paint on them bleed)
and the only time I've seen that red color is on figs marked CHINA on
them, and those red ones aren't really painted, more like someone took a
cheap red marker to them thats probably why the color comes off.
ALL of my CHINA ones are paintless(except the marked up red ones which
now leads me to beleive that the plastic dye could have bled??)
popculturizm's boxed figures don't seem to be painted judgeing by the colors.

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

i dont think anyones cataloged dinomites or brites to say if any color is rarer. i know there is no distinction by sculpt and have seen all come up pretty often. whithin how often they show up. maybe we should start a thread just for them and with pics of everyones. i had around 60-65 of them but sold them to a friend over a year ago9. i have around 7-8 as of right now. :)

When I said "Got both versions of VICTOR in green for Dino Mites and Brites
and an orange DINA for Dino Brites"
I was refering to popculturizm's statement,
"somewhere in the world there could be a "woolly rhino" and a "Brontosaurus being ridden by a caveman"
just mentioned the color of them in passing just wanted to know
the rarity of the figures.
Managed to get a 30pcs box set a couple o years ago(Real Panosh)and all
together with loose and China figs have a total of 105 figs, most of which
were in lots of other figs I was after.
So really the Dinos aren't what I collect and thought about clearing them out.
But after looking at what I have over the past couple o hours saw I was missing
just a couple to finish a mixed set and thought mmmmmmmm.......maybe. :D probably now.

Found this thread and figured I'd give it a bump because I recently discovered I have an entire set of these (pic below, shown in the order of the checklist on the back of the box). I knew I had one box but a second box was hiding in the back of the closet! I also have a handful of Dino Mites, which are the same sculpts but released by Panosh a few years prior to these.

What's weird about these is that certain ones are colored throughout (meaning the plastic is actually colored as opposed to painted), while others have a white base with the neon colored paint over it.

Are they Mites or Brites? My boxes look the same as the one in the first post. I'd be interested in seeing a pic of yours when you have a chance.

Also, just noticed someone has some sealed Mites up on eBay. The price they're wanting seems pretty crazy, but it's cool to see a packaged pic.

If it's a white base figure fully covered with neon paint, it's a Dino Brite. If it's a colored base figure with painted white/glow in the dark highlights, it's a Mite.

Yeah I guess the easiest way to know it's a Dino Mite is if it has painted white/GITD highlights on top of a colored base figure.

Here we go, this is my boxset. Very similar to the box in the first picture, but with some differences. Has definitely seen better days although at least it doesn't have the end ripped off!

I'm not particularly attached to this and wouldn't mind trading it away if someone really wanted it. And I wouldn't expect the $100 that the box in the first pic apparently went for either
