As part of a reward for supporting Timothy Young on Kickstarter, I was lucky enough to land myself some extremely rare casts of unreleased series two PET Aliens, and also some mini boglins too!!! It's a big shame these were never officially released, but I am delighted to be able to bring you pictures of what might have been! Apologies for the not so great quality of pictures - I'm not the best photographer and the casts are actually quite pale in colour so it is a bit tricky to bring out all the little details in a photo but I think you'll get the idea! Enjoy!!!

Firstly here's one of all ten series two casts I received:Attached File  All.JPG   56.15K   124 downloads

This guy is some sort of creature living in a bin:Attached File  Bin.JPG   61.01K   129 downloads

If you have seen the sketches of some of the ideas Tim had for the second series, you'll recognise this bowl of cereal alienAttached File  Cereal.JPG   74.17K   103 downloads

Some sort of gaming addict alien!!Attached File  Computer games.JPG   64.44K   89 downloads

What I assume is meant to be a pterodactyl firemanAttached File  Fireman.JPG   65.07K   77 downloads

Another from the sketch of ideas for series two - love this one!!Attached File  Hands Up.JPG   68.25K   78 downloads

And another from the sketch - some sort of electrical conducting guy. Love it!Attached File  Light bulb.JPG   73.3K   75 downloads

This next one is a musician that has two different appearances when viewed from the front or the back. Two in one!!Attached File  Music - back.JPG   65.67K   72 downloadsAttached File  Music - front.JPG   62.38K   71 downloads

This one is some sort of nurse werewolf like creatureAttached File  Nurse.JPG   65.92K   73 downloads

I think this one is inspired my Mr. Spock himself!Attached File  Spock.JPG   62.77K   83 downloads

And last but not least, the Haunted Pizza - both the cast and then an actual rubber figure version tooAttached File  The Haunted Pizza.JPG   72.46K   101 downloads

I also got a cast of each of the original four commanders
Attached File  Commanders.JPG   68.72K   91 downloads

Hope you enjoyed seeing these - love to hear your thoughts!

Glad you like them, thanks! I am very stoked to have them in my collection and also can confirm they're one of a kind so there are no replicas of these out there - makes owning them that little bit sweeter!!!

You must be sorely tempted to get some customs cast and sell them to collectors, if only to recoup some of your $1500 outlay

It was just a matter of time....

But then again, How many board members have paid over a grand, for ONE rare-ish figure...?
He's got what, ten for that price?

Yeah I knew someone would come out with it before too long, but whatever, I actually got 30 one of a kind figures since I got two Haunted Pizzas, the Alien commanders and 15 mini-boglins which I'll put photos up of soon. I'm pretty happy overall, plus helped someone out with their Kickstarter campaign.

Sure.
Pardon my ignorance, but what was the Kickstarter for?

Pardon my ignorance, but what was the Kickstarter for?

Timothy Young was launching a couple of children's books and wanted to get some money together to fund their promotion.

I love P.E.T. Aliens and Mini Boglins and you have unproduced ones...I'm afraid I'll have to murder you, sorry and all but y'know how it is ;).
Joking aside, they're fantastic, and thanks for sharing them, I won't lie - i saved them, I like to keep pictures of unreleased stuff for... later use I guess, not sure exactly what that use will be but...anyway.

I never gave PET Aliens a second thought, but those sculpts look great in monochromatic colors. Love those original commander sculpts.

Congrats on the very cool and unique addition to your collection.
