I was just wondering if anyone had any rare and unusual bootleg M.U.S.C.L.E./Kinnikuman Figures? I am interested to see which unusual one were made.

I have a, I guess I should call it rare, #104 M.U.S.C.L.E. Bootleg that is almost exactly the right type of M.U.S.C.L.E. plastic, except it has HONG KONG written on the back.

My other HONG KONG's are all soft plastic!

It's totally wierd!

I actually used to have that Bootleg M.U.S.C.L.E., the first pic on your site, the one with the robot arm that lookas like a key. I got him from a grocery store 25 cent machine. When I was a kid I cut him up into little pieces for some reason though. Either that or I burned him.

I got rid of my bootlegs when I was small. Don't know why. I guess I thought they were cheap imitations of M.U.S.C.L.E.'s. They are, but now I think they would be cool to have. Oh well...

Here's a pic of the six remaining M.U.S.C.L.E./Kinnikuman bootlegs that I still have. As you can see, there is a Kinnikuman Bootleg (The one that says Robin on his chest).

All these figures have HONG KONG printed on their backs. The one on the bottom right that looks like a M.U.S.C.L.E. is actually a Bootleg also. He is very M.U.S.C.L.E.-Like in color and hardness, but still has HONG KONG printed on his back. I've never seen a bootleg like this guy. It is a perfect copy, pretty much, but lacks Y/S*N*T!!!

Yeah, often with bootlegs, since they are made of cheaper plastic and crappier molds, the figures come out deformed in some way. With that Ashuraman #129 on the top row, some of the fingers are not completely formed like they would be on an authentic M.U.S.C.L.E. figure.

They're cool to collect though, those copies!

I have a cool bootleg that is about half the size of normal musclemen, he is faded and he is a copy of the ninja type muscle character. hes the only one like him that i have seen, i think he has hong kong on his back, but i would have to check. You can see him in my collection pic, but its a bad picture and you cant see any detail.

Wow, some unusual bootlegs! You have the ghost figure, I see. A lot of M.U.S.C.L.E. Bootlegs I have never seen before too! Cool!

Where'd you find bootlegs like these? Just out of curiousity...

I've got 2 bootlegs, Rikishiman and the alien dude with 5 antennaes on his head. Both are exact copies but slighty smaller in size than regular M.U.S.C.L.E.'s. Rikishiman has nothing on his back and the alien dude has a star instead of Y/S.N.T
