Hey guys,
I know some of you know I am working on a Muscle man, kinnikuman website, many of you might have already checked it out. It is still in its infancy but I hope to have a lot more time to work on it soon. I wanted to put a battle area, or wrestling area in it somewhere. There are a select few muscle men wrestling web sites, but none compare to Jkaris's (Johnny). So I need your opinions. If I were to put out a wrestling muscle tournament, would people consider me to be copying other sites, or would it be cool? I won't lie, Johnny's site is my favorite, and I consider it an inspiration, possibly even a reason I wanted to build a site, but I would not copy his material. I am still working on my profile, and bios pages, but want to start on the wrestling pages soon, depending on if the majority of you guys give me the ok. If you think it would be cool, let me know, if you think it is going to be cheesy, and consider it copying, I'd like to know that too. Thanks for your input - Jason (doc_Moore_J)

I think if you really want to do one, then do it.

There were alot of other wrestling league type site out before I started Kinniku-M.U.S.C.L.E. Wrestling. Alot of sites that included bios, awesome paint jobs and what not, but I couldn't find any that actually had pictured matches, so I decided to do KMW. I never got any complaints or accusations that I was a copy cat, because I wasn't. I did, and still do my site, mainly for myself, and secondly (a very close second, might I add) for the small group who follow it religiously. So, even if naysayers were to call me a biter, I really wouldn't give a damn, because I know that I do it for my own reasons.

If you want to do a site, man. It's a free country. And I sure as hell won't think you are copying anyone. The whole point of a wrestling match site is, for me anyways, to be able to play with your M.U.S.C.L.E.s again, and have some lasting evidence of those "Killer" matches that we all had when we were kids. I say go for it. Let your imagination run wild. And whenever you finish an update, post it.

I know I'll be there! And I'll tell you what would really be kewl. Once you get it off the ground..... A CROSSOVER!

And if anyone want's to say you are a copycat. eff 'em.

p.s. Fox and Tortle was part of my inspiration. Just so ya know. (They seem to pop up as announcers alot. Thy're like the Jay and SIlent Bob of the M.U.S.C.L.E. world)

I say go for it. There used to be quite a few leagues. The MWL, MWF etc. etc.....

The cross over would deffinatly be somethign cool to see.

As said before, there have been plenty of MUSCLE leagues. Every league has its own style and "personality", so to speak. I think that your league would probably be different enough from KMW that it wouldn't be a big deal.

The difference between "plagiarism" and "inspiration" is difficult to determine. I personally was "inspired" by Space Ghost: Coast to Coast for The Fox and Tortle Show (TFATS... I'm tired of writing it all out ). I think TFATS is different enough from Space Ghost that it can't be considered a rip-off.

However, if TFATS WAS considered a rip-off of Space Ghost, then since Kinniku-MUSCLE Wrestling was inspired by TFATS, would that make KMW a rip-off of Space Ghost? Or maybe since I'm a fan of KMW and it's updated more often than TFATS, maybe TFATS is actually a rip-off of KMW! Maybe TFATS is a rip-off of MUSCLE Championship Wrestling, which would, in turn, make KMW a rip-off of MCW, but the MCW was partially inspired by my site, so that would, in turn, make me a rip-off of myself... erg... I think I'm getting brain-freeze...

In the end, who cares? I think your site will be different and fresh. Go for it!

Everyone else aready made "sensible" reasons why you should do it. So why not listen to them (insert soft violin music) and to your heart. Because you see Jason, we all have dreams. Some of us want to own our own country and others just want to be able to make it to the bathroom on time. But each dream is unique and our own. That can never be taken away *sigh* and should never be trampled. So screw those who might think it is lame or cheesy. Now do you see why you have to do your wrestling page? (music stops and lights are turned back on....)

yeah i am looking forward to checking out your site and watching it grow, as we all once grew.

I think I am going to go ahead and do it. Johnny was who I was most concerned about and he gave me the ok, the rest just pushed me more towards doing it. I look forward to working on it. Maybe not this week, but soon. I do however plan on updating a lot of crap this weekend, so check it out.

I think it's a great idea too. I am always looking for new M.U.S.C.L.E. sites and things relating to M.U.S.C.L.E. on the net. The more sites, the better! Go for it Jason!

i think if you do see something you really like from another site
instead of just copying it , get the idea , add to it , make it better, that way you lift the standards , and we all win from it.

I wanted to take two sunigator hand Muscles, one to cover up each of my wife's chikubis (nipples) and take a picture.  It didn't fly.  Not in the least.
