This is a toy from my childhood. Here are the facts:

 

1.) Bought from a large store (like Walmart or Kmart or Target)

2.) Bought in the 90s (perhaps 2001-2003 but that is less likely)

3.) Whoever made this dog plush, also made a small brown fox plush (not in the same pose, rather the fox was standing on all fours not sitting like this dog)

4.) The tag use to stick out of the plush's back (but was removed years ago)

 

 

I'm not sure if this dog is meant to be a rottweiler or a doberman pinscher.

 

MY QUESTION:

 

What company made this plush/what is the brand name of this plush?

 

My goal:

 

I am trying to locate the "sister" plush (the fox I meantioned). This dog was my brother's. I grew up with the fox, and I would like to find it for sale somewhere.

You've probably already checked them out but the Teeny Beanie Babies had a number of dogs as well as at least one fox and even a chihuahua that could easily be mistaken for a fox. Barring that, there were several gashapon series from that era that built upon the tiny plush craze as well. If I come across anything more specific, I'll let you know. Cheers.
