I guess this goes out to all the cool customs cast guys on here. Anyone thing about making different colors of these guys? I know I would be in for a few if anyone did it. I'm thinking a Red Santa Claws would be pretty cool next to the green or a white Frozen Fright...sure there are other cool color combos too.

What he said. Painting would be a much more viable option instead of the expense of molding and casting for single figures. Makes sense in the case of something like the announcer figure as there will probably always be a market for creative custom casts of that guy, so the expense can be spread out.

If someone did custom casts of the few impossible to find figures from the first wave that would be pretty cool. They cost so much and the line is dead anyway.

Yeah that what I was thinking too. Other than series 1 it would be much cheaper to just paint the minis you would like.

i think the line is too new, i wouldnt wanna cast them up. plus the cost would be at least $10 a piece, not sure there is that much interest with them. Maybe if you took a few and kitbashed them together to make a new character? but a straight up recast wouldnt be worth it to someone like me.

I've been fortunate enough to have had custom Announcers made for me in a variety of colours, but as you seem to be thinking along the lines of fairly basic, solid colours why don't you simply paint and clearcoat the SLUGs instead?
I've never had great success with painting even single solid colors...I guess I need more practice. You do have to show some pictures of your announcer collection :-)

Shoot me a PM, we could probably work out a deal on painting if you provide the figures. Single color would be pretty straightforward.
