#111 just snuck by in their 1st round game, and #81 handed down a decent beating. Here’s the first game of Round 2 from Region 2:

This one was a little more difficult. #111 is a cool figure... his armor looks great, he has a cool mask, and his bladed arms are sweet. However, those blades would just break at the impervious stone structure of #81. Rock beats metal.

This is going to get weird. I voted for #111, and I didn’t vote for #81. It should be a no-brainer, right? It’s not. I need to take each game as a fresh start and just look at the two figures presented.

I think this is a match-up of concept versus detail. #81 is truly a concept figure. It’s an Easter Island figure. While it has an iconic head, it doesn’t have much past that. It’s a fairly plain body.

#111 has texture and details and I think that’s what makes him the better figure. I think his downfall will eventually be his pose. It hasn’t hurt him yet, but it is his one weakness.

I guess in the end it was a no-brainer, my vote is for #111.

I went 111. I like the blades on his forearms. 81 does look like an Easter Island statue!

Well, this is tough. Very tough.

Really, it's a coinflip, but the tie breaker is that I'm doing the voice for Akuma Shogun in the fandub. I'm going with AKS.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Both sculpts are kick ass, but for me the Akuma figure is way cooler.

Yeah, when it comes down to it, Shogun has more going on. I like 81, but 111 is more detailed.

I agree with Veers he 111 will probably lose the next round.

I voted for 81, I like a simple figure as long as he has one defining characterisic as in an Easter Island head. Also I'm hoping he advances to the finals sometime around Easter and then we all give him a holiday vote.

This was a hard one for me.

I love #81,I think overall he is a cool figure, simple but cool.
but I have to vote for MR.Shogun,Its the blades and the hair.

Seems like things are going to start getting difficult.

Now THIS is a match.....

I really like the powerful simplicity of the stone character. His head has character (for obvious reasons) and he looks sturdy ..almost impervious to pain. I tend to like sculpts with less "kibble".

On the other hand though #111 , despite all of the "extra", simply has more eye appeal when you look at the 2 side by side long enough.

My eyes kept being drawn to the 3 horns upon his head and the blades suggest that he may have skills similar to a "Vega" from Street Fighter . Graceful but efficient. Between the blades, horn, and armor it would be wrong not to give him the nod even if i dont necessarily like any of the attributes. Simple muscle usually wins my vote but not today.

#111 FTW

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

i went with 111

he is big, muscley and has spikes on his helmet... plus his blades just make him ready rip his opponent to shreds, maybe he cant penetrate 81s hard rock body, but i think he could hoist him up by the pants and swing him round and round until poor old 81 flies off into oblivion
