It’s comical that #2 has made it this far. He might have a nice sculpt, but such a dull stance has no business being in the championship game.

#153 is the clear winner. In fact, if we ever have a best figure tournament across lines of toys I think he’s a early favorite to win.

Well for a championship match I guess these two representatives will do. I do believe there are better sculpts then both of these, but both are still very good looking figures. I didn't think it would be a tough choice, but it was. Buffaloman is a sweet sculpt, he looks tough, he has a cool facial expression, he looks like he can just kick some ass. Claw is just a glorified Thing from the Addams family, and I disagree that he would beat out other toys in a cross line shoot out. That being said the Claws face is also neat looking and the bumps and the fingernail details is what make sit cool to me. I went with the Claw.

i feel really sorry for Terribull/ Buffaloman now. I have voted for him in every round and now i feel like i have led him like a lamb to the slaughter... no matter how iconic #2 is, regardless as to whether he had a name or not he simply cannot win this fight, for 153 had a name, and that name was CLAW! Go Claw rip that one horned bully boy to pieces!! ^_^

Sorry guys, I'm sticking with my boy Buffy! He just has more going on than the claw! REALLY! You don't see it? He has two hands! But I sincerely like #2 way more than the Claw, and think his sculpt is way more intricate in detail.

I'm really just glad #2 managed to snag his spot in the final, but I feel like there are better sculpts out there that either didn't get a shot or the shot they got was short lived for odd reasons.

Can't wait for the next tourney! ^_^ I will surely be more relaxed in my voting for the BattleBeasts rounds.

Thanks for taking the time to do this Veers. :)

Had to go with the Claw on this one. I like this Buffaloman figure a lot, but it's sad that the Claw couldn't have gone up against someone more interesting in the final game, like Mammothman, Cobra Satan, or Kani Besu. Oh yeah, the Crab got snubbed. ^_^

claw for the win, but i really would of liked mammothman here instead, and terribull just seems too generic to be in the final. nothing too great about him for my taste.

I disagree Veers. I don't think that there are very many sculpts that are better than #2. And honestly, I really don't see what you guys do in the Mammothman sculpt. He (Mammothman) is definitely a second stringer in my view. While I don't think that Terri-Bull is necessarily the 2nd best sculpt in the line, I am glad that he mde it this far (considering the other two choice last round ^_^ ).

That being said, there is no better M.U.S.C.L.E. figure than #153. Luckily though, he doesn't have to face his kinkeshi cousins. :)

The claw, the claw THE CLAAAAAAWWWW!!!!

Honestly, i dont see how Buffalo man made it this far. So many favorites out of the tournament and this geek is still here? Dont get me wrong, he is cool, but not even my fav buffalo sculpt. Claw all the way!

On a side note, I am sad to see this coming to a close. It has been fun voting and cheering on my favorites. Thanks veers for taking the time to do this, and I am looking forward to the battle beast one.

I get that.

But #153 has something that rightfully propels him past many other figures – fun. I think people often forget that a figure needs to be fun. Sculpt, detailing, paint applications, accuracy, etc. are all important but they don’t mean anything if the figure isn’t fun.

My guess would be that you could pair the #153 with a variety of other figures (modern SW, vintage SW, He-Man, Battle Beasts, etc.) and he’d probably be taken at least 30% of the time. For an unpainted, unarticulated figure that would be a stunning number. Of course, that’s just my guess.

I might just try that with my kid. I’ll need to wait awhile, but that will just give me time to prepare the toy research lab. Call me Piaget.

Claw for me. I'm with many of the posters here in wondering how the crap Terri-bull got this far. I mean, he's a great sculpt, but is it good enough to be in the finals? In fact, many of the sculpts that I thought would be contenders - Spinning Top Sunshine, Satan Cross, and the Nikus, specifically - didn't get very far at all. Weird.

I can't wait for the Battle Beast Tournament! ^_^

Yeah, I agree as far as the Claw having some special X factor. There's just something about a "disembodied" hand being an entity unto itself and having it's own face. It's got a bit of recursiveness to it in that it's anthropomorphizing a specific part of the human body (although it turns out the claw is really supposed to be the claw of a Tyrannosaurus).

Most of the time, it's parts of the human face that get this treatment -- lips, nose, eyes. It's just unusual and fun to see it done to the hand.

It's a toss-up. I feel the :Claw: will win, but I wouldn't be supprised if the iconic bad guy figure wins over a giant tyrannosaurus foot.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I can't believe the distance in the voting. I'm tempted to burn all my claw figures after this. #2 is a great figure! He's in my top 15 for sure! I guess I'm in the minority when it comes to preferring full body figures over severed hands ......I guess it's because the claw always reminded me of that scene from House.......eeeuuuugh...creepy green bumpy severed hand... ^_^ Try watching that movie when your 5 years old and all by yourself in the house. :)

And Buffy doesn't need arms up to fight. His Signature move it the Hurricane Mixer....And well, I used to ram people with his horns all the time.

Doc vs. Jkaris huh, didn't see that coming...

Too bad most cool figures got eliminated early on IMO.
Ukon and Tortle being exceptions.
At a certain point down these 'elections',
I actually was almost tempted to start collecting MUSCLE figures.

However, 15 figures caught my eye in this tournament.
And made me do some homework, by actually looking up ALL muscles.
I found another 5 who looked great and were not in the tournament.

So, I would like to get a hold of the following 20 MUSCLE-figures:

#006 Snygator
#034 Metal Man (not in the tournament)
#042 Brick Man
#045 Michelin Man (not in the tournament)
#046 Robin Mask

#072 Snygator again
#081 Easter Island Eddie
#099 The Bouncer (not in the tournament)
#124 Fox
#131 Ukon

#143 Crossbow Man (not in the tournament)
#157 Samurai
#158 Dino (not in the tournament)
#177 Lizard King
#185 King 100 ton

#197 Robin Mask again
#204 Turtle
#207 Striped Pumpkin
#212 Parthenon
#230 Ball-chain Man

Anyone want to help me out?
I would prefer to get all 20 from one person,
preferably in flesh, but not necessarily.

Greetz y'all,
DK

Don't you mean horn  I believe he had 2 at one point before getting his ass kicked by a superior figure, much as in the current situation.

Poor little guy's not gonna have any horns left when Veers draws this beatdown to a close.
