Showcase #54: Kinnikuman Crown War Ring Playset
I bought this ring playset from Mandarake (relatively cheap price in my opinion). It was new and what I love about Japanese toy stores is that if the product or toy has any damage to the box or is anything but "pristine" condition, it is sold for way cheaper (even if to someone like me the playset looked mint on the inside).
The set was kinda laying around in storage until I decided to start readjusting my display case.
I have been wanting to display all my vintage Kinkeshi with the Kinnikuman ring playsets but due to the space, it was proving to be difficult (lack of space).
But now that I have been playing/experimenting with double sided tape, I have discovered a way to use every inch of space!
I always enjoyed how Japanese toy stores like Mandarake or Kaikodo display the Kinkeshi stock in-store, so that is kinda what am going for here 
Released in 1991 this playset is not rare but besides the one I saw at Mandarake, I have not seen another one online or yahoojapan in 2017.
But I have seen the second set or better yet first on yahoojapan?
Two playsets exist of this type of ring set but I am not sure which one came out first.
The set also has 2 Kinkeshi figures and the rubber material is different & kinda weird in texture. The playset is small and not really bulky so it displays well in a small shelf.
