I searched but didn't find anything.  I was going through some extra beasts and I found a laser beast with the stamp and peg holes on opposite feet.  The peg hole is always on the beast's left foot for all of Series 2-3-4 from what I could find.  I don't see any evidence of the figure being a knock-off.

 

Opinions?  Is this a common error?

I'm not sure about the peg holes but at a glance the armor color is interesting. Usually Zariganian has light blue armor, while the armor on these (and it could be the lighting maybe) looks like the color of Rainbow Sam's armor.

I've only got one Zarig so a personal comparison is out of the question, but could be a model difference ( A vs B ).

It's definitely just lighting on this pic.  Here is some different lighting, and of the feet in particular.  I also have another "B" mold with the hole/stamping on the correct feet, so it shouldn't be that.

That´s weird indeed since the peg hole is ¨supposed¨ to be on the Left foot of the Beasts...

Any idea where you got the figure from or is it something you just noticed recently after checking?

It´s strange how after years little finds like these continue to come up.

 

If possible try to send a couple more pics of the concerning figure under daylight condition.

And if there´s any info related to this figure you can remember it´d be helpful as well.

Here's a few more pics.  I did some searching and I'm pretty sure I got this from a random eBay sale back in January.  It was a lot of 4, and the only Laser Beast in the lot.  It did come from Rhode Island (which is where Hasbro is located), but otherwise nothing unusual.
