I've got this part for a toy - I think it's Transformers - but am at a bit of a loss. I have researched it and can't seem to find which toy it belongs to. Does anyone know what this is please?

I ran it through the parts identifier at transformerland.com and I got no results. It may belong to a different Japanese robot series. I will see if folks in one of those communities can ID it.
