has anyone already posted on these yet? i was at the world's worst toys r us today and they had 10-packs for $20. each one came with a lord and nine minions of the different tribes. the ones they had were polypus, gheos, steelbeak & lavion. i didn't look at them too closely to see if the original missing two lava figures were included or not. haven't seen these before in the store though. thought everyone may have wanted to hear about this.

here's a pick of the polypus pack.

Nope, never been mentioned before, ever! Wish there were pics of more than one full box though. :p It would make doing the math just a bit easier. As it is, if there were four of these ten-packs, and two of the sets doubled up on Lords, then you'd have room for the existing 40 figures in the US. Which would mean STILL no release for the missing Lava guys.

That is a good price for them, by the way, and depending on how all the ten-packs look, they're an awesome alternative to hunting down stupid two-packs, at the cost of getting any of the cool recolors.

They're not help for me though, because I already have seventeen out of the thirty different two-packs. Gah.

I don't know if you guys noticed but in the picture you see part of another pack on the right hand side that says "Exclusive Lava Figures" so maybe they have been released in those packs?

That's a Starter Set, which includes five out of the seven existing Lava figures.

I thought it was another ten-pack as well, but then I read the blurb and saw it wasn't.

Yeah, I was thinking before I went back for a second look and noticed that it was the starter pack... To quote McBane "On further inspection, these are loafers" :p

If only we could get a 10 pack that included all those Series One - Wave 2 FE repaints that were only at a precious few TRU's. I sure buy one then...now, not so much.

Eh, in my opinion you want the real deal FE from Italy anyway with all the bells and whistles, not that cheap imitation you got over there :p

I'd like to support a domestic release of these figures as much as I can, which is why I didn't eBay everything or pick up FE repaints online. Having cards I can read and 100% understand is a bonus. :p

I may have photos soon, if I catch these before my vacation. I do get a layover in the Milan airport on the way in and the way out hopefully I'll get some authentic Italian Gormiti at a gift shop. EntertainmentEarth.com has had the 10-packs listed as a pre-order product for a few months but I was sure the image they were using was a mock-up: http://www.entertain...number=PL01600A . I was hoping for a definitive pack-out list before bothering to mention it. There does seem to be four boxes per case according to EE.

yeah, i would say that is definitely not what the 10-packs ended up being. three lords? that'd be crazy.

It was a lazy, half-assed release of FE in the States, and the company should be condemned for it. No glow in the dark/colour changing, and they just recycled the series 1 cards instead of doing proper versions. Lame.

Although if they're just reissuing the same 40 that have already had a US release, then a couple of the packs will have two lords, right?

I've not seen them "in the flesh", but it seems that there are some Atomic series 10-packs now appearing over here.

A Tesco-exclusive, apparently: http://direct.tesco....R.206-8438.aspx

I don't know whether it's a proper display box like the US 10-packs, or what.

I don't know if this is a frowned upon practice, but I lifted some images of the 10 packs from Ebay. If there is a problem with this, just delete this and let me know. I am currently debating whether or not to boycott Toys R Us, so I will probably not be taking my own recon photos of these packs.

The other week I went on a toy run to catch the new Return of the Jedi figures, and I found another Walmart that stocks Gormiti. I was pleased to see this Walmart had the 10packs available, which my local Walmart does not.

My silly Walmart has yet to restock Gormiti after Wave 1. Thank goodness for Target!

The local Walmart that originally stocked Series 1 Wave 1 no longer stocks any Gormiti. It's two other locations that stock Gormiti now. I suggest checking out other Walmarts... or at least giving them a call.

Thanks to ToyWiz, it seems that there are five of the ten-packs after all, not just the four previously pictured.

Here's the previously "missing" pack, with Polypus!
http://www.toywiz.co...itit10asse.html

As you can see, these five packs only cover the tribes available in all the other sets, and simply fill in the holes with duplicates. No Lavion or Lava figures of any kind, including the two missing sculpts. Sad.

That was pretty fast. I didn't start seeing the Series 1 ten-packs until after Series 2 was released. Hopefully that means we'll be getting Series 3 as soon as January/February.
