I like those. It looks like they made them so you can take the stand off, which is good.

This isn't going to surprise anyone but I really, really like the look of these. Very Gormitiesque and just more evidence that the best LRG goodness in 2009 is coming from Italian companies.

I'm very impressed with these! If you go to the xenoxworld link, click on "guerreros" and then one of the 4 tribes - they have 360-degree views of all 32 characters. I especially like the Mechabot tribe.. very nice sci-fi styling on these. There's also a nice continuity betwixt different members of the same tribe, without being too repetitive.

And yes, it appears that the stands are removable, which is very cool! Is there a game that goes along with these guys?

These are out in the Uk now I saw them advertised on tv there £2 a packet. I like the Mechabot tribe. The site says you can get the last few figures you need up to 4 at once by post but the pricing is insane its like £5 almost with postage cost just for a single figure.

No way, how did I miss them coming out here?!

I could have got them when I got my Gormiti, I see they're doing them £43.41 for a box of 30 :D

I picked up 2 figures today and I think I'll be getting some more of these. Clearly inspired by Gormiti - they even smell the same - but with enough of a twist to make them interesting in their own right.

Size comparison:

The main game you can play is a Battle Beasts-style Rock-Paper-Scissors thing, but the interchangeable bases add some unpredictability to it.

Three posts in a row, maybe I'm the only person interested in these :M:

But in case anyone else is interested (anyone in the UK anyway), there's a guy on eBay selling boxes of 30 for £30 including free postage, which seems insanely good value:

But at least I have plenty of spares available if anyone wants any :D

Cool, thanks for sharing! Like those robot ones, and the slugs make me think they are distant relatives of Earthworm Jim. However I find the rodents the most amusing, reminds me of The Brain; "I am a mouse in a large mechanical suit in the advanced stages of taking over the world."

$3 is more or less £1.95 (retail price) on the nose I think. They're probably worth that, just about.

I got a good deal on these and would sell my spares for $2 each plus shipping. I think I have 29 of the 32 as duplicates, most of them twice.

I have managed to pick up the magazine! It gives you lots of background info on the characters, and it comes with 2 free figures. The figures are a little smaller than Gormiti (but I compared my Xenox to my Elemental Fusion figures, which are quite chunky). I have also found that they have started selling them individually in my local toy shop, so I am going to try and do something I have never done before, complete a LRG collection!

My son's been collecting these for a few weeks now and I think they're pretty cool. The simple rock-paper-scissors game you play with them is a breath of fresh air after loads of super complicated Pokemon-esque card games.

The magazine/comic isn't bad, either.

There is something very angulated and abstract about these. Much like Gormiti. It's as if you would have needed a ruler to design them. I dunno it's hard to explain but that aspect is unappealing to me. There are only like 3 or 4 Gormiti sculpts that I liked enough to buy. These look to me like more of the same.

Ahem! Moving on...

I just got my first 2 sets of Xenox today, the Mechabots and the Rixx. I don't collect Gormiti, but my son does so I have a bunch in the house for comparison. I have to say generally I like the Xenox better. I think both the individual sculpts as well as the entire theme for the four 'tribes' is better than Gormiti. Don't get me wrong, I think some Gormiti figures are fairly well done, like the Mushroom guy or the Cactus guy from the Forest tribe. But overall Gormiti has never impressed me, the sculpts seem...pretty unimpressive, maybe even a little childish.

Xenox on the other hand seems a little more suited to my tastes with it's more 'sci-fi' theme, with my personal favorites being the Rixx. I'm not sure if I like the smaller size though (compared to Gormiti). I knew they were smaller but I was a little surprised at how small they really are. Very good sculpting and paint job for the size though.

The games you can play with the figures are ok. I'm not too taken with them, but then again I'm not a little kid. My son seems to enjoy the rock-paper-scissors game, though you don't need these toys to play that :D

Overall, I say they are well done toys, and I would recommend picking up sets if you are a fan of anything like Gormiti.

How tall would you say they are on average? It's hard to get a sense of scale from the pics I've seen.

Sorry about the quality. Generally Gormiti are a little taller than Xenox, but the real size difference is more in width (or girth?), as well as weight. Xenox just feel much lighter than Gormiti, limbs aren't as thick, etc. Just overall more petite.
