I'm sure by now you have all heard of certain recent events on this board which (as I am sure you could have inferred) have completely angered me. There Didn't seem to be a reason for this to happen but for some reason it did. I'm not going to name names or explain exactly what has made me this mad but I'm sure you can all figure it out. This will be my last post to this forum. I made a few friends and one or two enemies. I'm not mad at any of you and I hope you don't get mad at me for this but just the thought of being reprimanded for spelling incorrectly makes my entire attitude about this great board with many great people change 180 degrees. Leaving on account of Veers's promotion is the cowards way out. I personally have no issues with him but as you said, people can turn 180. If you fell you have given him chance after chance, you can ignore him. I mean you can choose to ignore what people say. Just because he has some powerz doesnt mean he can slaughter what you say. He will get reprocussions for doing that. BUt be optimistic, he could end up an aquatance, even a friend on the boards to ya.

Sure you can run away from this problem, and dont have to think about it twice, but what would that solve in 'real' life running away from your problems. Step up and face it. I hope you both read this as its the best advice to take yet sooo sappy to read/ listen to.

It's too bad that you guys are leaving, and even more disappointing that you're leaving because of Veers. Frankly, I think Veers makes a great mod. He brings a measure of quality control to the boards. Sure, he rags on people, but he only seems to rag on those who 1) don't take the time to write coherent posts, 2) create posts or polls that nobody gives a crap about, or 3) sound like whiny brats. I guess it's possible that Veers has been out of line in his criticisms and I simply didn't see those posts, but on all of his posts I've seen, his comments were valid. I haven't noticed any issues arise between Veers and Warsman or Wraith, though... did I miss something here?

I will sincerely miss Wraith... I think he contributed positively to the board, and he's always seemed to be a pretty cool guy. And if Warsman leaves, that will suck balls, too.

But, hey... what's with all this melodrama recently? It's a friggin' toy board, for Christ's sake! Why are we getting all worked up about it? Let's put things into perspective here and talk about some toys!

I can definitely understand a vacation, due to kids/people stressin' you all out. Hell, I have been to that point twice in the last week.

What I don't understand is a referee, maybe 2 referees, and another member all seemingly good guys, bailin' the boards without everyone totally understanding the circumstances?

Seriously, I must have missed it too, unless it is just jealously that Veers got a killer promotion.

I personally like Veers' style (probably until he busts my balls hard).

What I cannot understand is that you said you were leaving and weren't going to name names and then all of a sudden it is Veers. That is lame.

I would have to pretty much agree with Toyman and MIWP from just knowing what I have read in this post and nothing more.

Maybe if you two or three (its sounds like almost 3 to me) would be a ton more specific and lay it all out for us in the dark, maybe it wouldn't seem so "lame" or "crybaby crap" to some of us.
