Hi everybody - finally got a camera of my own today, so let's see if we can identify some dinosaurs I've had for... my whole life, seemingly.

(This last one's just to give an idea of the scale - plus, it was fun).

Any ideas?

One of them has this sun-type emblem:

"T.S. Made in China"

Another one says "Made in China", but other than that, nothing - just some ventilation holes (I'm assuming from the factory).

About twenty years too late for that

I probably don't have to tell you this, but cheap hollow vinyl dinosaur toys like these are a dime a dozen. Or even more like a nickel a dozen. Manufacturers aren't well-known, molds are often "borrowed" by newer companies from older ones, and sometimes rather than get copied outright, they're modified and turned into new creatures.

Here's what I can tell you. First of all, I have that very same orange and red Dimetrodon! Second, the most prominent company that did toys like these, Imperial, has a very prominent copyright, so I don't think that's who made any of these. You've got your work cut out, between ever AAA, Tootsietoy, Ja-Ru, and random Chinese manufacturer/supplier since the 80s to look into.

Thanks for the information there, Baltanll - I knew they were cheap, even as a nipper, but they're still a lot of fun. I have a few of the Imperial ones, they mostly have two heads, which is nice - but yeah, names to go from! Appreciate that :D

EDIT:
Just done some Googling for the names you suggested - turns out I have many Ja-Ru dinosaurs, even some Marx ones, but haven't found the lot I posted above... Yet.
