Just to name a few great ones

Rachet & Clank (Series of 3D platforming games)

Dragon Quest VII - Journey of the Cursed King (RPG)

Urban Reign (Beatemup/Fighting Game)

WWE Smackdown - Here Comes the Pain (The last Smackdown Game prior to SmackDown vs Raw)

Red Dead Revolver (some say it's lousy, but I think it's good)

Watching old anime as if it's in style, since whatever is trending nowadays just wouldn't suit me at all.

My favourites have more of an "arcade" flavour to them:

-Gradius V (rock-hard horizontal shooter)
-Splatter Master (scrolling beat-em-up, you play as a scarecrow with chainsaws for arms!)
-Homura ("bullet-hell" shooter, with a feudal Japan setting)
-Zombie Virus (drive around in an ambulance, running over zombies for points)
-Flipnic (weird pinball game)
-Earth Defense Force (blow up building-sized insects with a range of over-the-top weapons)
-Mr. Moskeeto (play as a mosquito and suck blood from people without getting caught/swatted)
-Fantavision (try and create the best fireworks display possible)
-18 Wheeler (juggernaut-racing, really good in 2-player mode)
-Mad Maestro (conduct an orchestra, like Guitar Hero but for people who prefer classical music)
-Sky Odyssey (difficult but ultimately relaxing flight simulator)

Most of these (with the exception of Gradius V and Homura) can be got for less than £5 on Amazon UK, just so you know.

You can't go wrong with the compilation games like
Capcom Classic vol 1 or 2
Snk Vol 1 and I think there is a 2
Sega Genesis Classics
Metal Slug Anthology
to name a few.

Then there is Odin Sphere, a quirky action RPG with the most beautiful 2d graphics.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

So far I have played a few games with my 5 year old son and they have been ok. Shrek, ben 10, jak and dexter, might have to get ratchet and clank I remember that being fun, hopefully his age group.

For myself :biggrin2: I have completed God of War, I liked that and it entertained me for hours for only a £1.

I have completed Call Of Duty 3, enjoyed that, just sadly didn't feel that free to randomly kill and roam.

I now am trying to move ahead in GTA San Andreas, I'm enjoying it, but I have used a cheat to get lots of money, its for the weapons, I really enjoyed the take over the hood part where you're killing gang members.

Might have to get The Getaway Black Monday as i remember playing the getaway back in the early 00's and enjoying it massivly, albeit a very short lived game at 15 hours completed.

Thaks for the suggestions, I should've bought the resident evils and silent hill I saw but was saving the pennies for the big LRG haul that never materialised, don't ya just hate that!
