I was home sick and sleeping when the planes hit. My father in law came and woke me up and said that there had been some airplanes that hit the world trade center and the pentagon.

I dont think I have ever woken up so fast in my life. I ran over to the tv and turned it on (old Tv no remote). The cable had gone out so I could only get local stations and they were kinda grainy. Once the tube warmed up I saw smoke billowing from the twin trade towers with flames showing every now and then. They switched to a far of view of the pentagon where you could just see smoke at a distance.

One year to the day I am here at work carrying on. In between then and now I got Married and got an apartment for my sweetheart and I, purchased a new car.

I was at home that morning and had woken up and went down stairs after both planes had hit. My mom was watching it all on the news and told me what had happened. I had to work later that day and watched on the news all day at work also. Unbelievable day...

I was at Little Rock Air Force Base. The base totally shut down. We couldn't even leave the building we were in for several hours. But you know something wierd? Here we are a year later, and as a tribute to how desensitized my generation is, the only 'feeling' I have is, "man, has it been a year already?"

I was sitting in my classroom, early for my 8:00 class, as usual,m when a student burst in and told me and the one or two other early birds. Class was cancelled that day. Sadly... I'd been expecting it to happen. Bin Ladin had warned us three weeks ago that he was planning something.
