I Object! That's impossible to really use if you go with MSPaint! I call shenanigans!
Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.
And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.
And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

very nice
I was able to lighten it up using a dodge tool in photoshop. I've had this photoshop program for several years and never used it till I saw these image contests. I'm learning a little more about it every time I use it.I can barely see the pic cuz it's so dark.

)But hey, you don't need it, you could do something similar in paint. Crop the top to get rid of the text and use cut and paste to get rid of the text in the body--if the text bugs you like it did me. I don't think it really needs to be lightened up. I read the post that said it was too dark and that's what prompted me to experiment with lightening the image-just to see if it was possible.
Besides, I think the purpose of these contests is to have fun and come up with the coolest/funniest/most creative image not the most professional looking (not that I'm saying mine is any of these :humble:) --That's how I vote anyway. I did my last one with Photoshop and it sucked (0 votes)--I even voted for somebody else's.

Given the complaints, I decided to construct my entry in MS Paint to see what would happen. It's definitely a pain, but it's "do-able".
If you're looking for Photoshop-like freeware, I suggest you check out the Graphic Image Manipulation Program (GIMP). It's kind of a questionable name (gimp?), but it's a pretty good Photoshop imitator.

Thanks! It's not my first time using MSPaint, although it's the first time I've used it in about 6 years. This image brought back some old memories of my pre-Photoshop days, when I made some pretty nifty custom Star Wars cards with MSPaint. But man... it's definitely a bee-eye-itch to use compared with something like GIMP or Photoshop.
