I just got this guy in a MIMP lot... but he's not a MIMP. Somebody else is interested, too. Anyway, he's hard plastic, and his back has the markings "1992 L.G.T.I." (i.e. Galoob) as well as the number "19." He's also MUSCLE-size. If anyone can help, then thanks!

Searching "L.G.T.I." on Google came up with a possibility: "Robot Aliens". There were no pictures on the site that listed this cereal prize line from the early 90's...

At first I was going to say MIMP, but then I read further and you said it was not. Though, it does look quite similar to one. Maybe it's that secret MONSTER!

Oh and I just saw this  so I had to include it.

It looks familiar, as I think I've seen a similar bunch of monster figures elsewhere... but no idea about a name.

No star on the back, and MIMPs were made by Matchbox. Therefore, not a secret monster.

This is driving me nuts! I've seen this figure before, too.

:D

Ridureyu, please let us know if you ever identify this figure.

The only real Galoob line I can remember from this time was called Mutant League, which was a monster filled take off on the EA sports games that somehow got a cartoon license.

I also found another picture of what I think is a fig from this line - check out pic 13 on this page.

http://www.angelfire...ypage/what.html

If I can get to my Tomarts magazines, I'll check on this.

Hm, I'm not sure if you were saying you thought Ridureyu's figure was from the Mutant League line, but I looked it up on the Web and it doesn't appear to be, damn it.

Mutant League

And the figure in picture 13 does look as if it could be from the same line as Ridureyu's figure, but what's up with the hole in the crotch?

It looks like it's to fit on a pencil or drinking straw, features which I assume the other figures in the line would have as well.

How could it be from Mutant League? There aren't any sports bits on it anywhere, and the ML figures are all large, painted, and articulated.

NOPE!!!

It is from a toy line made in 1993 by Galoob called.....................drum roll............

BAD EGGZ BUNCH

His name is, "Vertebregg."

I have a Galoob Toy Fair catalog with all the Zbots, all the Trash Bag Bunch, and all the Bad Eggz Bunch. The TBB are all in funky prototype colors!!!

Anyone interested in purchasing this full color 79 page toy fair catalog, please pm me serious offers.

This is an indespensible resource.

It also has a ton of Micro Machines!

My scanner is funny, so I would really have to have some serious offers to even mess with my scanner.

Hope this helps ya out though,

Oh,
the catalog also says, "International Only," however, that is the same thing stated on the Trash Bag Bunch.

I think there are some unproduced TBB shown too! How many are in the set of TBB? This catalog shows 48 different figures!!!

As far as the Bad Eggz Bunch, there were 24 different ones in 5 different colors. They came in thin plastic eggs that when you cracked them one of 3 different colors of slime came out with the figure (blue, green, or red/pink slime).

Badeggz....jeez.

The reasons I thought Mutant League could be these:

1. Monstery dudes.
2. Made by Galoob.
3. Around that time, there was a lot of the "make a micro figure of everything" marketing, such as Star Trek, etc.

"Mutant League" was quite popular as a Sports Franchise on the Genesis system, as only Genesis would allow the blood-and-guts kind of play. Football was first. Hocky followed soon after and was quite a bit better, and Soccer came out in the tail-end of Genesis's days.

For some reason, I think the line is dead. I don't know why nobody picked it up for one of the next-generation systmes...

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Someone has recently requested the names of all 24 Bad Eggz Bunch figures from Galoob, and here they are:

1. Poacher
2. Omletto
3. Egg Crusher
4. Hard Boiler
5. Eggasaurus
6. Eggz Benetick
7. Squegg
8. Octoegg
9. Eggipede
10. Yolkyuk
11. Devilied Egg
12. Peel Poacher
13. Bategg
14. Raw Eggster
15. Beater Beast
16. Gatoregger
17. Egg Gripper
18. Turtleshell
19. Verebregg
20. Zygoshark
21. Larvegg
22. Scramble Skeeto
23. Protein Plasm
24. Eggface

Anyone that is into Z-bots, Trash Bag Bunch, and Bad Eggz Bunch might want to make me a reasonable offer for this 1993 FULL COLOR Toy Fair catalog. It is invaluable to a collector wanting to have full color large pictures of every figure in the toy lines and especially to them in prototype paint jobs (like the TBB).

What's a "reasonable" offer?

$50. Or a good trade that values $50-$75.

I have seen Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogs go for $100+ and I have seen others go for $10-, however, as many kewl and obscure toy lines that are in this one, not to mention how big the Z-bot and Micro Machine spread is, $50 is a fair price. Toy Fair Catalogs are NOT easy to come by.

I have had 3-4 people ask me how much and I have told everyone, the first $50 can have it.
