Indeed, Mel Birnkrant was his name. He also did the Outer Space Men and Real Monsters toys. Thanks to Mr. Scythemantis for that nugget.

And not to mention Oodles! He's actually a great guy too, I had a little chat with him on email a while back.

I feel like I should nominate a 'worst LRG' but I'd feel kinda bad on any I put forward...^_^

My nomination: The NEW MIMP Leviathan
(Thanks for the pic, Dr.Soups)

(Ed:) How do you go from the white whale that Moby D!ck was based off of, to some pouty faced troll/slug? Sucka, please.

Man, I had never seen that Leviathan before, that thing is awful. Put me down for a vote for that guy.

Strange, that Leviathan is the only one out of the new MIMPs that I've felt a connection with so far. He's not as "X-TREME"-looking as the rest of them really, is he? And in that respect, he's a good guy!

Nah man, he just doesn't make any sense. Why would an aquatically adapted creature be equipped with weird hoof/claw appendages and what appears to be a less than hydro-dynamic head? I mean the original Leviathan sculpt wasn't that crash-hot either, but at least it had a bit of character. This guy looks like the ba$tard son of Jabba the Hutt and a hippopotamus.

(Man, I can't believe the word bastitch is censored on this site! It's a legitimate word and my post has a stupidly placed dollar-sign just so I can get my point across.)

Well, when I think of the lmyth of the leviathan, I think of some gargantuan white whale destroying EVERYTHING.
Not some cabbage patch kid, with some ebola chaser.

Well if we're talking hydro-dynamics, might I point you in the direction of the manatee? Or even the sea lion, or the walrus? A walrus could kill a polar bear, oh yes, so just imagine a GIGANTIC one of them! I therefore nominate the entirity of the new MIMP line, besides Leviathan :)

The new Leviathan looks like a perect rendition of the unseen "Sea Swine" from Toys. Now that I've reminded you of the Robin Williams movie, you are forever ruined.

Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango?"

LOL!!!! Actually, Queen is my all-time favorite band!!! But at leat this figure doesn't have Freddie's priapism. (hopefully)

That road kill cat is freakin awesome. The little boy laughing on the package slays me! I want a whole collection of different road kill animals. How much would that cat run me if I were to try and acquire him?

Always hunting dinosaurs of many types, and anything cute. Don't worry, I have a warped sense of what's "cute".
