Has this SHA been accounted for? I don't think so, but it's likely to exist as Arforbes has been following the SRs for some time.

Soupie, I think that there are less headless SHA figures thatn you have listed. The one that Philly and I had was first owned by Philly after he won it off ebay, later sold to Goriki without the head still, I bought it from Goriki and then got Marty to make a Flesh Custom Head for it, then I sold it back to Philly on ebay, so all those are the same figure.

Kinda crazy how that worked out!

Okay, made some corrections and reorganized things.

I really thought there were more than two (2) confirmed HSHA out there. Right now, I only know of Philly Madison and Mr. T having a HSHA.

I only remember one auction with a headless BHS. I am almost positive Philly won it. It was also the same one that had the ink-stained feet. I cannot recall another, but that might be because if there was, it was headless and not of much interest and I simply cannot remember.

Okay, I don't mean to badger you, but you are probably the best resource for these questions.

There have been at least two EBAY auctions offering HSHA.

1) Philly won the first one for $178.*

2) Mr. T won the second one for diddly squat.

* Remember your and Goriki's EBAY auctions were with this same HSHA.

The SHA EBAY auction that I am referring to stems from the end of this thread: Goriki sells his HSHA

I'm just curious what auction you guys were talking about. Note: You WERE not talking about Goriki's auction! You were talking about the EBAY auction that JUAN posted. (Dammit, I don't know why he posted it at the end of Goriki's post. Unless a moderator put it there because it was a double post. Which means we should have already accounted for this SHA WITH head.To make matters worse, JUAN even attached the following attached picture.

Oh shizznit! I remember now. Yes the other HSHA was a legit HSHA. So there are two out there. I can almost remember the pic of that auction in my mind now. Thanks for the reminder. That one is the real deal.

The other complete SHA and BHS were two FLESH KINKESHI versions that I was trying to get for my collection of Japanese versions of the super rares. I was surprised to find them in flesh instead of green or orange so I was planning on bidding on these, but I forgot or missed the auctions. So these two, the BHA and BHS are Kinnikuman Kinkeshi.

Not to be a unit or anything, but I still do not consider the purple claw to be a "Super rare". I still love Johnny to death for getting me one, but here is my reason why I do not think you need to track it. According to MBD. There are "rarer" figures than the claw. Here is a short list to prove my point:

#1 only 2 Salmons known
#3 only 2 Purples
#10 only 1 red
#11 only 2 blue
#13 only 1 red
#15 only 2 purples

That is only the first 15 or so that I looked at, the rest of the list was similar. So there are potentially hundreds of rare or less common figures in colors. I think we should concentrate more on finding out the origins and locations of the super rare non poster rares.

I definitely agree that the Purple Claw is not one of the Super Rares. That distinction belongs to SHA, BHS, DM, and DE.

I don't even consider Satan Cross to be a Super Rare, and to call him "rare" is even a bit of a stretch.

I guess my post title is pretty misleading, but I kind of just wanted a place to keep track of all the MUSCLE stuff that us MUSCLE-heads tend to get excited about. Using that reasoning, I figured the Purple Claw was worthy of mention.

Not only do many people like and hoard Claw figures, but the Purple Claw seems to be pretty well sought after. (I mean, just the fact that we actually know which three people have a Purple Claw says something.)

I definitely hear what your saying though, Doc. So, if a moderator wants to change the thread title to something like: "Highly Sought After MUSCLE Stuff," that would be cool with me!

I dont see why that would be the case, I think its a good idea to keep track of stuff like this. I agree with Doc about the colored figures, there are probably a lot of them that could be considered rare, it would be more efficient to just keep track of the non-poster super rares. Than again the Purple #153 is kind of a special case too, I dont see the harm in including it, I think its pretty significant that in at least two years of watching ebay like hawks, only three have surfaced.

Not at all. I think it is neat. I also see where you are going with the sought after figures. I suppose a purple claw is more exciting than a #17 magenta.

With that said, if the moderators want to change Marty's user name to flaming homo, that is ok with me.
