This is the first of many hard decisions. I think both of these are great figures. #230 has a great look. Seemingly headless with a ball and chain attached to his arm. It strikes me as an incredibly original and unique look. Unfortunately the rest of the figure is fairly bland.

#111 has a cool knight-thing happening, with great texture. He has a neutral stance, which can go either way with solid figures. In this case I think it suits the figure, plus he’s got those cool knives.

While both are great, I have to go with #111.

I went with 111 too. I really dig his textured armor and bladed hands. He also seems more substantial, and therefore more "badass" than 230.

Your substantial comment jogged another thought. I’ve owned dozens of each figure. It’s not uncommon for #230 to have a broken chain - a major bummer.

I went with #230. The ball and chain portion of the sculpt is simply too unique. (And there is the other sculpt of this character with the ball still on his shoulders. Fun.)

Figure #111 on the other hand, while a cool looking figure, is not terribly unique. I would also prefer his arms to be slightly bent up and forward at the elbows.

Definitely #230!

I find he has this cool muscular-robotic-kinda look.
Plus his simplicity for me actually supports that look.
I really like the chain too. ( Kinda have to, since I really used to dig Castlevania... ;) )

I got to be honest. I think 111 looks cool and all, but for some reason I never really liked him. ;) Don't car for that Sculpt of Kendaman either, but I actually havn't owned too many of him so I'll go with him. ;)

I'm giving 230 my love. The ball and chain is awesome. And for some reason I like his boots.

#111 All the way!!!Very bad @ss!!!,Just picture him with an uppercut punch right up your throat in battle.ouch! ;)
This figure also has some cool looking hair coming out the back of that helmet.
This guy is also in my top 5 favorite sculpts, even had TGB make me a clear blood red version of him because thats what he does makes the competition bleed.

On with the next round. ;)

I voted for 230. Clean, simple, and unique. To me those are the marks of any good toy. 111 just seems really busy to me, and with three head spikes and two giant hand-blades, he looks like he could be fronting the cover of a terrible 90's Image comic.

While ive grown some what attached to the #230 sculpt ( i really like the simplicity of it and the ball and chain accessory accentuates that simple sculpt without going over board) #111 looks like he would be killer in a larger , more detailed (and articulated  ) scale. As is though #111 is perceived by my eye as being "to much".

My vote goes to #230

If this were a fight though..assuming #111 had any speed/mobility #230's ass is TOAST.

My sentiments exactly. I figured that 230 would be going down in a ball of fire about now. We may actually get our first upset of the tournament!

Animated Gif's / Sprites of the Muscles performing a simple "battle" or wrestling move would be sweet.

#230 tossing the ball and retracting the chain.... #111 ...doing some generic stabbing uppercut.

While I do love the Mace(Kendaman) sculpt, I am PLAYING Akuma Shogun in the fandub. I've GOTTA go with AkS. And Mace just isn't the same without Screw Kid. They're a combo-- Mace and Screw Kid. Take out one, and the other one just isn't as cool-- much like The Legeon of Doom or The Bushwackers: noone wanted to see them wrestle singularly.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.
