I am excited to see how the LB rounds work out. Some of these should be interesting.

I voted for the Blue Eagle sculpt. I have always liked this figure, even though I never had it as a kid. I always liked the bird figures since in battle they could all fly away and attack from the air.

Oh, I had to go with the all american Eagle on this one. I have always like this scuplt. Although I really like Fly Sailor. He is one cool flying fish. But the Eagle got my vote.

i voted for the fish, i like this sculpt alot but i also like the sound of his weapon, "Sea Freeze Laserr". I like to imagine tha it is a freeze gun. He could freeze the eagle in mid-flight and watch as it plummets to the ground and shatters into a million tiny pieces.

Fly Sailor has that tough marine look about him and I'd pick him in a brawl but I like blue eagle slightly better, Laser Beasts I wouldn't pay crazy jack for.

This one was rough. They both have great color schemes and fantastic sculpts with lots of textures. I also really like their weapons, both of which not only incorporate bird and fish elements, but also are guns instead of the usual BB sword or spear.

I ended up going with the fish for two reasons: first, I've never been a big fan of bird figures, and second, the fish was one of my first Laser Beasts, and I remember how surprised I was at the leap in quality between normal BB and LBs.

...The Eagle sculpt looks confident (almost cocky) , strong and assertive giving the impression of a commander. The negatives working against the sculpt are few with those being the feet and the lack of wing span . Had his wings been wider it would have made for an even more impressive toy. Even the dull paint job is effective here as anything brighter (other than perhaps blue) would have possibly been over kill.

Fly sailor...what can i say...i dont really like anything about this sculpt other than the boots. The boots are amazing and would look great on another figure. Other than that though Fly sailor reminds me of something out of the Bruce Willis Sci Fi movie " The Fifth Element". Its mouth reminds me of a puppet and lacks detail. The odd pink thing on its head degrades the figure even more.

No..theres not much "fly" about this Sailor at all.

#77 Blue Eagle for me.
This was my very 1st LB,but thats not the reason why he gets my vote.
I really love his wings,they are not to big or to small they suit him perfect,His weapon is awesome!

His arms are the only thing I like about this figure,His head just seems to corky for my taste.
Definitely a catch I would throw back in.

Wow, I thought this one would be closer, it took me a minute to vote. I really like the fish thing, but the eagle is just a tad bit cooler. I love eagles so maybe that is why I am partial to him. Pretty cool looking sculpt, one of the better I have seen so far in this tournament.

I'm not a big fan of the Lazer Beasts. I've only ever owned one, and that was Condorassin....probably the worst one in the set. They just don't fit in to the BattleBeast series to me, and seem way too different. But aside from that I do think that the Lazer figures are great, but I'll never have any cause I'll never feel comfortable spending so much on them. Crazy collectors.

I'm voting for the Eagle. I think he looks great, and probably is the best looking bird figure out of the entire BB/LB line.

Yep, had to go with Blue Eagle, he just has a distinguished honor look about him, plus, he catches fish to eat all the time!!! Blue Eagle this round for me but there are definitely better LB sculpts.

That Eagle is surprisingly cool. Cool enough that it almost got me to betray my aquatic loyalties. But not quite. I've never really looked at pictures of either of these two figures for long (looking at out-of-my-price-range Laser Beasts for too long is just heartbreaking right now), and they're both great. In the end though, Fly Sailor is just a lot more fun for me to look at, and just more interesting overall.

Plus i hate birds.

Though I think Fly Sailor isn't that bad at all, except for his oversize mouth;
I went with Blue Eagle, because his worst flaw, his feet, is less severe imo.

Certainly there are WAY better laserbeasts still to come...

I almost went with Fly Sailor though,
because it actually was one of the last low-end lasers I had to get.

Still working on the medium and high-end beasts though...

Looks like the Japanese Eagle wins this round easily.
