Is that what it is? I have most of the alien figures from that series..(including the gorilla alien) and the idea of there being smaller solid molded plastic/rubber bootlegs of them is one that I like very much. I would love to find that for myself, and more if they exist.

@MF. It is the fig in your last picture, which is not the same fig as the pic above it.  It is small and non-articulated.

Oh I know. I was putting those originals up in comparison to your mutated bootleg.

The influence is undeniable.

It came with a space station you could build in many ways the white guy with the gun in that last photo came with the set also. Im sure it was not by blue bird toys though you probably thinking of the mighty max doom zone wolf ship seven that had blue aliens.

It looks like all of the pictures in the OP were lost, but that alien minifigure came from the unidentified playset described in this thread. http://www.littlerub...howtopic=170139

According to that thread the toy company was called Blue-box. I have found a little bit...but not that figure yet.

Yeah, Necrotard didn't stick around long huh? I was going to say that the OP mentioned that they are from Blue Box Toys which is still around and probably what Iraboom was thinking when he mentioned Bluebird.

I am still looking for more provenance than just a company name.  I would like to see box art or at least a photo of the playset all set up with a description and year.

@MF.  I found the site where both of your pictures came from.  thefwoosh.  It was another toy identification thread.  No one ID'ed the alien or set, though a few people said that had it as kids etc, etc, etc, then the thread was derailed by the identification of some other robot that the OP put in the same photo -- that blue robot which is not part of the set with the xenomorph alien.

And look at Dranar peeking in here too. ;)

That was definitely the sort of style of the space station playset I recall, but I couldn't say for sure it was the exact one. I actually remember seeing its box once or twice in KB Toys before.

FINALLY! Thank you for pinpointing the exact name of the set! And yep, totally saw that badass set in stores on more than one occasion, wouldn't surprise me if there were some TRU Express or out-of-the-way store that still had a couple hanging around even now.

Of course, the name is ridiculously generic as all hell, as these kinds of toys often do, the kind that's a nightmare to track down if you don't quote the precise name.
