With only a five vote win SC failed to destroy his opponent. And in the most controversial game so far, #87 beat the loveable #60 by two votes. Here’s the first game of Round 2 for Region 4:

I'm not the biggest fan of Satan Cross but he gets thrown up against sculpts I'm not crazy about, another blah round for me with Satan Cross getting a vote.

SC really isn’t the greatest sculpt in the world. He’s basically a four arm gladiator. I think #87 is a pretty original concept, whether he’s an orifice, volcano, or guy-with-a-smashed-in-head.
But who is the better figure? Both figures are playable, unlike other figures, and nicely detailed.
I think SC has the cleaner execution. Nice details, and a very polished look. #87 is interesting, but slightly difficult to decipher exactly what he is supposed to be.
I guess I’m weighing polished vs. originality.
Originality is important in 233 figures, but this is one-on-on. And originality doesn’t help when you can’t quite tell what is there.

Still, in my opinion, a 4 armed gladiator is cooler than a guy with his noggin caved in.

This was a toughie for me. Satan Cross is one of my favorite figures. Not only does he have multiple arms, but also weaponry and wings. There's plenty of play value with SC.
87 has the advantage of being a cool, unique headless figure. And being one of my first MUSCLEs, he certainly has nostalgia going for him. I also think his sculpt is more detailed and interesting.
I'm going with the underdog, 87.

i voted for Volcano Man
he was always one of my favourite figs when i was a kid and was Muscle World Champion on more than one occassion. He looks mean and aggressive and the lack of a mouth makes him even more sinister to me. He looks like he could pack one hell of a punch with those big old fistsof his.

As much as I really don't care for this SC sculpt. I really don't like the volcano dude.

SC all the way, he just has more happening with him. He would be the boss if he was in a fighting game. The question is not whether he can take Magnitude man, but whether he could take Goro!
