No question here. Tortle wins. Even if you factor in storyline, Sneagator could beat Manriki with ease.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Honestly, I don’t believe this is a no-brainer contest. Both of these figures have a lot of pluses and minuses.

The first flaw, that both of them have, is pose. Both of them are left with there arms in very non-playable poses. What hurts #204 even more is his lack of arms. If people think that #219 looks like he’s falling down or simply spinning, then they can’t think that Thalidomide-boy is going to be kicking any ass.

It terms of sculpt both are pretty damn good. In fact I’m surprised by the amount of detailing on essentially basic figures. #22 has a great comic book look to him, and his head/face looks very cool. And I think that clamp-thing coming out of his head is pretty awesome too. I said it before that clamp always made me think he was some type of shape shifter.

#204 has a great sculpt too. He’s a cool looking humanoid-turtle, but those flipper arms really hurt him. The look of his head is also a bit awkward. With his flippers and legs sticking out of the shell, his head looks kind of odd just sunken into the chest and shoulders.

Playability. This is probably a flaw for both of them. They may look cool, but neither of them can put up much of a fight. As a kid I know that #22 kicked much more ass than #204.

I’m truly torn.

My vote goes to #22. His one flaw is his pose, where I can find many flaws in #204. Both are great figures, but I’m going with #22.

This one's probably going to be pretty close. 22 is a strong figure, with a nifty sculpt and a bad attitude. I almost voted for him in the last round... he's a pretty cool figure.

But of course, I voted for 204. He's my favorite figure and has been, pretty much, since I bought my first MUSCLE purchase of the Mighty Maulers 28-pack way back in 86.

Sorry, but Manriki sucks rocks! He's got that whole, "So butt-ugly his mom had to tie a steak around his neck to get the dog to play with him" thing going on.

Well this one was another toughy -

Tortle would be pretty pinheaded in a fight (not you nathan, im talking about #204) and Manriki looks like he could kick a fair few assess i like a lot of the things about him, like his stiched together costume and his mask and the fact that he is built like a brick shizznit house, but tortle oozes personality. He looks creepy and menacing but also kinda cute and you gotta dig those shoes and his laced upbody. I dont know the back story too well for the Sneagator character and i cant quite see how mutating into a turtle would be of any advantage in a fight, unless he managed to bite them i guess....

Tortle wins! He is just a very cool looking sculpt and everything a muscle should be... weird!

Man this is a hard one. Both sculpts are sheer quality! They both have the lace thing going on, they both have a similar expression and face (Manriki's head could be a tortle head with a mask on), and they both have great characteristics that set them far apart from other figures. I mean Snigator is a Turtle here! And the Manriki has Clamps for shoulder blades!

I find these 2 sculpts to be almost equal! in the end it comes down to taste for me. I like Turtles alot....in fact I watched the very first Gammera movie today.

I'm gonna vote 22. I've always liked this figure. I had 204 when I was a kid, but can't recall if I had 22. 204 always lost fights. Mainly because he would always get knocked on his back and dry out in the sun. :) He didn't have rocket propulsion to fix that problem like Gammera.

22 doesn't need his arms. All he has to do is lean forward and clamp onto the competition. He could probably even crack this turtles shell. e+

This game has about 4 hours left (approximately noon EST). If the tie hasn’t been broken, the tie-breaker will be used.

Not to worry, politicians bribe all the time AND get away with it :D
BTW Nathan, how much would a tortle-muscle go for?
As a BB/LB/GB-collector only, I have no idea really...

Yeah, I'd say that 204 would probably only be about 50 cents to a dollar. The multi-colored ones might go for more. I think purple Tortle is pretty hard to find, but I wouldn't pay more than a buck or two for it.

The Tortle Campaign just held a press conference to address the bribery scandal...

Posted Image

"This is just another blatant smear-tactic from the Manriki Campaign. I have never, nor will ever, resort to something as corrupt as bribery to win votes. The Tortle Campaign has more than enough strength to win without such base tactics anyway. SHAME on you, Manriki, for polluting our esteemed voting institution with such mud-slinging tomfoolery!

And to those of you who supported me with your votes, your check is in the mail."
