#219 just barely snuck past a tough first round opponent, #54, with just 4 votes. #177 had the opposite experience, he destroyed his opponent by 15 votes. Here is the match-up for the second game of Round 2 for Region 4:

The announcer is a staple. Neptuneman isn't, though I do like both figures.

This is incredibly difficult. I’m a big fan of both of these sculpts. I heaped praise on both #219 and #177.

#177 doesn’t have a glaring weakness. It has a great look, great sculpt, playable pose, and scores near the top of every category. If there is one weakness it is the reptilian nature of the figure. But it’s a minor flaw. This figure really seems like a dragon in armor, so while it’s similar it’s different enough.

#219 weakness is that it is another Muscleman figure, but it’s seemingly the only action orientated figure (#208 is the only other one that remotely fits the bill, off the top of my head). If there were lots of figures with action poses, then it would lose some of that special-ness.

But this isn’t about the entire line. It’s about two figures. And for me, #177 is the stronger figure on his own – although he gets the win by a few percentage points. #219 could have gone further with a different draw.

My vote is for #177.

Punching Zebraman (#219) is the least sucky of these two sucky sculpts.

Punching Zebraman is in my top five favorite MUSCLEs, so of course he gets my vote. It's a great action-oriented sculpt of my favorite Kinnikuman character.

But I love 177 too. And he's probably more fan-friendly than 219, so 219 has quite an uphill battle to face.

Dragon King is my favorite scult next to the claw. Easy pick for me.

#177 is a no brainer for me. Cool looking figure. I really don't like the action stance of 219.

i have very little love for 219, never really liked anyof the posey lookin figs e.g. 217, 213 etc.... i actually hated this fig as a kid he looks like he is doing some sort of spin move, and even if he is punching, he looks like he is missing and anyminute he is going to fall over and land flat on his face. yep definately one of my least favourite figures, the only cool thing was when i got the cooler version of him thats facing frontways, then i made them a tag team, 219 was very rarely tagged in tho B)

Chinese Dragon man all the way to the next round! He is much cooler!

I didn't vote for either of these I think. 177 is superior in this match up, but I don't want either of them to make it, so I'll just vote for who I think will lose. B)
