This round I voted for Salion. Their second time with a lion and I dont think they did much better. So my vote goes to the rhino.

Salion, definitely. For some reason Takara just doesn't seem to be able to make an impressive lion.

Salion for me as well! I love the look of his bulky, banded armor, makes it look like he had to improvise with his armor because the standard kind wouldn't be able to fit. Brown Lion is good and actually shows off his marble a bit better, but the body looks so generic. You could put nearly any animal's head on that body and not see anything wrong with it.

Somebody needs to do a black repaint of Salion post-haste. Then it'd be a Judoon Laser Beast!

As much as I wanted to go with the lion, I had to go with Sailon. He is one of my favorite Lasers. And very customizable. Sorry Brown your going down.

I almost voted for Brown Lion since he costs more. But Sailon does look a lot tougher.

Brown Lion, I guess my finger isn't on the pulse of the laserbeast set because I fail to see anythng cool about the rhino outside of the fact he is a rhino.

i have not been all that impressed with the big cats so far - well i liked pirate lion, but that sabretoothed beaver thing just was not my cup of tea, anyways i actually really like this lion his colouring is very cool, again his mane could have done with a bit more maneyness, however he is up against a freakin Rhino - i mean they are cooler than cool!

I voted for Sailon because he he just looks like he can rip some sh^t! He looks like a true soldier, tough skinned, hardened face. An overall tough looking figure.

I have never been a big fan of Brown Lion...I have never tried hard to collect him either other then to try and complete the 1-112...he just looks so gay. It's not the pink/purple Armor, it's the golden locks (or mane if you can call it that), and his Bearnstein Bear face...at least thats what it always looked like to me.

I think both of these kind of suck, actually. No detail at all. Pretty blah sculps. And! Everyone knows Sailon is the lesser of the rhinos. Rocky 4 LIFE!!! Or, whatever.

I think both sculpts are pretty lame so I went with Brown Lion simply cuz that gun of his is badd ass and would F you up something fierce!

I went with Salion. I think his colors and his armor details are far superior to Brown Lion. I think you could do some cool repaits/customs with Brown Lion though. Pooyabee did an awesome "Wooly Rhino" custom for me with a Salion that rocks.

Sailon for me. I think this figure is just perfect the way it is. Nothing over the top, but not as lame as the lion. The Colors just work well, sort of like the Hippo.

The lion is just bleh. Terrible head sculpt, terrible armor sculpting. Square wrist bands just make it nasty looking. Like he made his armor out of some cardboard boxes or something.

The Sailon's weapon is neato too.
