For me this is an insanely difficult decision. I’ll need to sleep on it, make a pros and cons list, and poll a statically significant sample of males 26 to 32.

I know a lot of people love the arch and he's fun to stack and all but for me that's about it, I mean, #157 has a sword. How many figures in this line came with weapons.... exactly, while #15 just sits there as a big dumb tourist attraction. No offense to Sunshine as a character, I love sunshine but how the F does an arch fight?

What good is a sword if you cant whack someone in the face with it? Sunshine has my vote. No further comments.

This was a really tough decision, but it came down to Arch Sunshine just not being all that intimidating. I mean...he's an arch. No feet, no arms, and there are few buildings as unimposing as the arch. It's the structure that says "Hey, just walk right through me. It's cool.".

And being a GWAR fan, the gladiator armor and huge sword combo really does it for me. Not the most actiony or playable pose in the world, but sometimes you don't need to be punching air to get your point across.

Sunshine's always been one of my favorites. And Barry, all he has to do is fall on his opponent and crush him to death--or chunk a brick or two at his head

Sunshine Arch! Why? 3 reasons....
1. Sunshine ROCKS!
2. The figure is heavy as hell.
3. The Samurai Knight guy is a lamer.

Fall from where though? Assuming a stone statue without legs can somehow get up in the air I think is a LOT bigger stretch than assuming a guy with a giant sword for some reason would choose not to use it like some people in this thread have. :)

No no no, you totally misinterpreted that picture, that's Geronimo kicking Sunshine is his bricknuts!
...and since the arch has no legs, he pretty much has to sit there and take it :)

The Arch 100%. There are 2 figures with swords in the muscle line, and this guy sucks cause he only attacks the ground. The other dude even goes further and has a flame sword, and he holds it up! He kills all the time. :p

But I always used all the Sunshine figs just how they just happened to have been used in the story! I used to make my Sunshine transform into the top and arch and just drop on people. I always squeezed my other figures between the Arch. That's ultimate play Right there. When you can switch figures quickly to form almost seamless slaughter attacks.

I think there's a reason for that :D

Teenage Mutant Ninja Arches, He-Man and the Arches of the Universe, Battle Arches... seriously we're talking toys here, not architecture, toys are for kids, not historians. Unique also has to have a point. A toy feces soldier hasn't been done to my knowledge but that doesn't make it a good idea :p

I went with Sunshine. I guess overall, pretty unique. Hard to play with as a kid, but I called him the Wall, and he was like supposed to be the "biggest" wrestler on the roster, like my Andre the Giant. Hard to knock down, etc... but he really was a boring fig to play with.

the knight guy was just sort of there, nothing really exciting other than that sword, in which he used to win his matches illegally.

Hard decision as neither really tickled my fancy, but Sunshine is pretty cool!

Sunshine FTW!!!!

i went with the sword weilding knight, i like his sword and i also like his cool little knife tucked inside his belt. He is very well detailed and i reckon if he spoke he would have a really gruff sounding voice.

this was very hard to call becuase i love sunshine too but i like the detail on the armour of the other guy

I am being a rebel and chosing 157. His scult is just plain better. Sunshine is just to plain in this one. Yes he may be solid, but you can always use a sword to chop him down. ;)

I have to agree with Leo on this one. I went with 157. He has a great sculpt with numerous textures, a cool weapon, and a pose that just makes him seem like he's an invincible emperor.

That's not to say that this wasn't a tough choice. Sunshine Arch is a great sculpt and almost a legendary figure. His mass alone makes him an awesome figure.

But in the end, he doesn't exactly scream action-oriented play. So 157 for me!

I voted 157.

The arch just looks kinda lame to me.

And the samurai looks pretty well done, with a nice armor and strong sword.

Actually, it was my stomach who decided on this one,
since Samurai-sauce is THE BEST topping for fries in da hole world!

BTW 'french' fries don't exist!
It are actually BELGIAN fries!
But the English soldiers* called them french fries,
because they learned to eat them in the french-speaking part of Belgium!
This is no BS. It is fact!

As a heart attack. Benkiman is a urinal. With a pile of poo on his head. Guess that one slipped by the overprotective folks at Mattel when they were culling out Nazis and aborigines from the original line.
