I voted for the Tortoise. Ever since it was noticed that he has tank treads on the sides of his legs I love his armor.

Love everything about this figure,armor,shoulder pads,color scheme,drill hand.
Not to mention I love the way they sculpted his legs,Perfect!

Horny Toad for me. I never had him as a kid and since I added him to my collection I like him even more.

There's just something about Hardtop Tortoise that doesn't really do it for me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but i think it's shell-related. Also his armor's a bit too...neon.

The Toad, on the other hand, is definitely one of my favorite Beasts in my collection.

This can NOT be happening!!

Hardtop Tortoise is my second most favorite sculpt, it is SUPERCOOL!!
How can he be loosing here against a Toad with dull weaponry and dull armor??

The Turtle has effin' cool colors, great skin and a way cool shell.
PLUS his left hand is a magnetic grip claw, that would crush Toad easily!
He has wicked cool GREEN eyes and fantastic leg-armor.
What's not to like here??

He was one of toughest fighters in my army!
Horny Toad was in my brothers army,
and could do little more than jump high,
kinda like hare rasing Rabbit...

This can just not be happening

If he (Tortoise) doesn't make it, I will come pay a visit to all you 'Horny'-homies...
and not for spreading some love around

DK, who actually saved a little toad yesterday,
but that one was no battle beast and deserved better than hopping
on the side of a street, so I took it to a nearby lake

i had both these figures as a kid and there is no doubt about it, i loved the Horny Toad the best. I always imagined that his left arm was like a firing harpoon of some kind, he was a vicious little toad. The other guy i never much cared for, he looked a bit like a liquorice allsort

I went Hardtop. While I do like both figures Turtle just has that extra special oomph with the skin detailand tank tread amour. I used to pretend his claw hand should shoot electric energy.

This is a good match! I like both of these figures! I had both as a kid, but I had the Frog longer. He would always go to stab someone, but chances were they would grab his spike arm with their pincers....since so many of these guys have pincers. He would always duel with Deer Stalker! Surely one of my favorites!

I like the Tortoise, but I have more fonder memories with the toad.

In keeping true to my turtle fandom, I went with the turtle. Unfortunately, neither figure is particularly interesting. The turtle has weird neon armor and a flimsy-looking claw, while the frog has a Christmas color scheme and goofy antennae coming out the sides of his head. Turtle for the win... but just barely.

Green, brown, and yellow are Christmas colors? And they're horns. His name *is* Horny Toad, it'd be weird if he didn't have horns.

Very difficult choice for me. Initially i thought id vote for the Toad as my eyes were drawn to him but the more i look at the Tortoise armor details the more i was drawn to that sculpt. The tortoise suffers from a bad paint scheme where as the Toad has an appealing paint scheme but when you look at him a bit closer he doest exude a serious feeling of toughness like the tortoise does. Webbed feet, huge flattish yet bulbous head, horns on his shoulders... Kermit on 'roids i tell ya. Had the Tortoise armor been purple and his skin a mix of brown and green this wouldnt even be close.

Toad = Fun
Tortoise = serious evil soldier

The turtle's colors are terrible. A re-painted one would be really awesome though. I went with the toad.
