I thought this one would be a harder choice but after seeing Scumdogg's picture of him I have a new found respect for him. I like the way they did the extra arms coming out of the shoulder, and I like the color scheme too.

I like the Octopus and i almost voted for him.
but I really dig the legs on Slasher Seahorse,It just seems like they gave this figure more thought and time.

i voted for the Octopus, i really like his striking colour and his big black starey scary eyes.
the sea horse i actually quite like he is very odd looking and from wha ti can see has a very strange skin texture going on there, but the octopus is just much cooler... i want one!

I like both these guys almost as much, but the Seahorse has a nicer weapon
and better hands for playability (which IS a factor for me )
The Octopus drops his weapon way too easily, not enough grip.
But this could be another close one.

DK, who hates poorly factory-painted eyes, like Octo often seems to have.

I have always like the Seahorse, but the Octopus figure has grown on me. I really like how they made him. Very tough choice. I will be happy with who ever wins.

Octillian Octopus is hands-down my favorite Battle Beast. It warms my cold, black heart to know i've won him a vote.

That's entirely the opposite of what I thought when I looked at the Seahorse. It looks like Hasbro/Takara took the basic Battle Beast form, gave it a funky seahorse texture and fins on the shoulders, and with a seahorse head called it a day. Octillion is not what I'd call the best BB, but he's done quite well and comes close to being one of my favorites, even if I don't have one anymore. Easy vote in support of him.

You vote for the octipus because of a drawing? I remember a thread around here a long time ago about the worst Beast made,and Octillian Octipus was at the top of the list !
Slasher Seahorse is a very nice sculpt. I esspecially like how his head looks. Very under-rated figure IMO. Seahorse FTW !

Really? At the top of the worst list? Clearly there's been some sort of mistake. Battle Beasts in general are pretty great, but there are a ton of bland sculpts and a lot of the line looks like the sculptors kinda went into autopilot...i've always thought the Octopus stood out as a figure that someone really worked hard on. Plus he kinda looks like a Mega Man enemy.

I think the Octopus is one of the most unique figures in the line. I love those arms and harpoon weapon. Octopus gets my vote.

I didnt make a vote based on the drawing. But the drawing did give me a new appreciation for the figure. I really didnt care for the Octopus before at all. But after seeing the picture I see different things about the figure that I never noticed before.

And based on the vote.....I would have to say that the Octopus cant be the worst figure ever cause it is kicking the Sea Horse's tail!

This has been my toughest choice so far, I love the skin texture of the sea horse and the arms of the octopus, plus the octopus looks like he came out of the origional legend of zelda game but as much as I love the sea horse I'm not impressed with his armor, very ordinary compared to the octopusses and not the best color choice either.

This one was tough for me too. I'm a big fan of cephalopods, so the octopus would naturally be a personal favorite. He has cool aquatic features to his armor, but his color scheme is off. The bright red doesn't make me think of the water. I think his skin should have been a shade of blue.

The seahorse is really cool too. I like his color scheme, and he has some fantastic texture. He's one of the few BBs with any sort of sculpting detail on its hands. The armor looks great, too. So I went with the seahorse.

I'm surprised that the seahorse is getting wiped out like this. I would have thought the match to be much closer.

I posted but I guess it didn't work. Anyway

I like them both, and I like their armor and weapons, and phsical design. I think they are perfect figs. I like how their armors seem to flow and match the figurs, and the colors are perfect as well. I had the octopus as a kid so that's a bonus, but I can't help but think of all those dried up seahorses you buy at giftshops near the beach.

I've got no problem with the Octopus winning, but I didn't expect it to be winning as much as it is. I distinctly remember a good amount of hate directed at Octillion Octopus before... probably pre-merge of AKIA and Beastformers. Silent majority that's voting now perhaps, or the same way Mammothman nearly swept through the first tournament.
