I’ve always thought of #16 as the misshapen #71. I’m not crazy about #71, but it’s much better than #16. If #16 isn’t even the better of two similar sculpts, it simply can’t beat #175.

I’m not crazy about either of these figures. I feel like I’m picking the loser of the next round. #175 is an ok figure. It’s interesting, but I never really knew what it was. It also doesn’t have a very playable sculpt, although for some odd reason that weird thing sticking out the head always worked as a nice battle ram.

#175 by default.

This is one of the first polls where one of my regular champs was in the spotlight. I voted #16. This figure spent just as much time as my champion as probably any other muscle. There was only a few that would give this guy competition, one of which was the other neptune man sculpt which I liked just a teansy weansy bit better. If he was not currently the champ, he was tag team champ with the other neptune man sculpt. The spiked chest, the huge muscles, the suplex and clothesline pose just made this guy unstoppable. Very cool fig in my opinion. The other guy.... well.... he just the other guy, I dont have anything to say about him, I dont think I had him as a kid, and if I did, I prolly pulled off an experiment like Nathan's test muscle on him hahahah. Blah sculpt, blah pose, in fact he really just sucks and so does anybody who votes for him :)

I#175 is an ok figure. It’s interesting, but I never really knew what it was.

Oddly enough, that's exactly why I always liked that figure. I can't explain it...and I certainly can't explain what the heck it's supposed to be, but the weirdness of the figure made it one of my favorites. He's got an abnormally small head under that mask, but the rest of the body is swollen like Barry Bonds. He always made me think of a tank...even more than #121....the suspenders looked like treads to me, and he had a turret on his back and a gun on his arm.

And although it doesn't enter into my decision, I think it actually helps that the stupidity of the figure was no different in the manga, where his entire purpose was to die the second he stepped into the ring. He's a jackass...but in a good way.

#16 just makes me think "Phantom of the WWF"....Hulk Hogan scarred by acid living underneath the ring.

#175 EASILY for the win, how is a dude supposed to fight a tank?!?! I don't care who you are, when you're looking down the barrel of a tank's cannon, let's face it, you're probably gonna piss yourself.

I've never watched the show/read the manga but I think it's pretty intuitive that if he's got treads on his chest and a turret on his back and another on his arm, somehow there's a tank involved with all of that. :)

Damn you Veers! This one was hard. I love both those figures. But since the Neptune man figure was always one of my tag tam champs (the CyberHulks) I boted for him!

OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN!!! Number 16 Was my #1 figure when I was a kid, and he kinda still holds that special spot in my heart! I will probably vote for him as long as he is in this.

I like 175 alot too, but he just can't waver my love for Neptune Man! I had good taste when I was a kid, cause well, Neptune is one of the COOLEST characters in the Kinniku story! He is best in Green. :p

If Neptuneman does not win this vote I will come to all of your houses and beat you with my Neptuneman dekakeshi!!!!! But seriously, this guy was always my number one as a kid as well. My dad had the same mustache, Hulk Hogan had the sam mustache, he was a shoe in for my number one.

OH Yeah, I'm with Johnny on this one. How can you vote against a "Cyber Hulk"?

I never really knew what 175 was either, but he sure looked powerful. He was a tag team with the Manriki when I was a kid and they were one kick butt team. Nobody could match their power! Hmmmm, maybe the Cyber Hulks should take them on!? heehee.

I went with 16, because, hey, he's got spikes and with one arm up and the other down, he gave a good clothesline, and a even deadlier DDT!!!

Cyber Hulks GO!!!!

number 16 all the way baby! whats not to love about furry boots, underpants and a waistcoat?

the other thing was pretty freaky, it looks as if its head is only half formed. i used make this thing a medic to help heal fallen wrestlers, not much action in the ring for this poor freaked up muppet

I voted 175.

Number 16 looks kinda dorkish to me, with his mouth so wide open, lord knows how many flies he swallowed already
I think 175 looks a lot tougher too, and the canon is cool as well, so I went with the most bad-ass on this one.

This one's kind of tough. 175 was one of my first MUSCLEs, so I have plenty of nostalgia surrounding him. The cross on his face made me think he was a medic. Only later did I find out that he was a tank, which is 100 million times cooler.

16 is a pretty sweet figure, too. He looks pretty wild, has a nifty face plate/mask, and cool spikes on his chest.

I went with 175, but just barely.

I'm going with Neptuneman. He looked like Hulk Hogan in a mask, and the extended fist was PERFECT for punching other figures right in the nose. Which is how he won-- one big fist to the face. If undodged, he won. If not... well... (much like Hogan in those days, eh?)

And the guy I'm NOT voting for, I still like-- When I was a kid, I put a cheap McDonald's toy plane propeller on his top (as I thought I just didn't get the propeller with him), and flew him around. So as a figure and memories, I do like 'em... but he just wasn't a good fighter. I thought he had a camera or telescope for a hand. He was my Goodyear Blimp for my Muscles.

And here's more info on him, curtesy Wikipedia.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.
