Without a thought I got to go with the Boar. He is one of my favorites. I like his face mask with it's darth vadar look. I like his tusks, his skin color, and his hair as well. Really cool badguy figure.

Gorilla gorilla gets my vote as i thot he was so cool as a kid and i was really into monkeys and apes. I think he has a cool face and a nice expression on his face. I used to have him but mine was orange for some reason.

That must have been the Orange armor variation, even better than the normal one IMO.

Much as I like the Gorilla, as battle beast and as real animal,
I am gonna vote for the Boar here, because of his great orange punk-like hair...

This is a good match-up though, both these figures are very nice sculpts,
but Boar has a cooler weapon.

Both were in my brothers army, so no prejudice involved in my choice here
I also like both their shoulder pads... especially Boar's

I went with the boar. He was my favorite Battle Beast when I was a kid and the hero of countless adventures. He was the pilot of a B-Wing, which I would zoom around the house pretending that the furniture were asteroids. The boar was the only pilot good enough to make it through the living room asteroid belt without a scratch.

Anyway, he has great coloring (that actually doesn't clash... possibly a first for BBs), a cool face mask, and neat tusks. Also, he doesn't have a weird left hand, which is a feature that many BBs have that I never really liked. His weapon is pretty sweet too.

The gorilla is pretty awesome too. I like his red and black color scheme, he has a pretty cool expression (I can imagine him being a leader), and I like the fact that his arms are proportionally longer. But he doesn't stand up to the boar.

I voted for the Boar. I have always loved the tusks and the gask mask look.....esp when he and the skunk stand on top a a toilet (JPac ).

I went with the Gorilla. He was always a personal favorite growing up. Maybe if the Boar had a different color scheme......I do like the Boar's weapon better.

Although a purple boar seems a bit questionable, Swiney easily got my vote. His weapon is so-so (and weapons generally only got worse over time) but he has a great, fearsome look for a good guy. Love the face mask and armor color, and that his body and armor don't quite look generic the way 90% of the mammals do, especially with those hooves.

The gorilla could have gotten my vote against some other competitor, but being a primate, it's no stretch of the imagination to give him futuristic armor and humanoid proportions. He definitely would have beaten some of the cats in this tournament.

The boar ‘cos he’s both a cool figure, his artwork on the poster is one of my faves and his Japanese name (Wild Thunder) is one of the best in the line
