ICK ! I don't like either one really. If the Racoon had a cool heft handed weapon instead of the 'waving' hand he'd be pretty cool. The duck is pretty lame as well. They shoulda made him look something like this....

I guess I'll vote for the duck. I think he has a little more potential.

Both these figures are nice except for their left hands.
Both suck!
But I really like the color combination on Run Amuck,
and the cool face mask on the Racoon.
Also, I like both weapons.
But my choice went with Run Amuck,
because his back looks cool,... well actually his ducky behind that is...
And his left arm is a lot less lame than Dragoon's.

Man, both of these figures are pretty terrible. The duck just looks silly. There's nothing bad-ass about him at all. Although I like his bladed left hand, the coloring makes it look less like a blade and more like a wing. He looks more like a generic Easter toy than a beast ready for battle. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the duck a -9.

The raccoon is also horrifically bad. The mask is kind of cool, but the coloring is a bit pukey. And he doesn't have any armor at all on his arms! WTF? And his left hand is a... hand?! It's not even closed so he can hold his weapon. Not that he would want to, as that weapon is quite possibly the worst weapon of any toy I have ever seen. I give the raccoon a -10.

So, I voted for the duck somewhat begrudgingly.

Who am I? "I don't need no stinkin' wrist armor, I am the buffest of all beasts, and I always beat rock in rock paper scissors." That's right the bad ass raccoon. He gets my vote.

I LOVE Raccoon! I will admit he's a little awkward compared to other battle beasts, but I still think he is a good figure. And I attribute his armorless arms to him being very agile and accurate with his arms and hands, like how real Raccoons are able to use their hands really well to wash fruit and the like. And his visor is pretty neat. I say it gives him night vison. Oh, and he's a Ninja!!! How cool is that? He was once a pupil of the great wood tribe ninja Pew-Trid Skunk, but has since risen in ranks and abilities. While he still has his Light Blade of White Flame (original weapon) he now prefers to use his dual Sais. While his visor can serve as night vision, it can also shield his eyes from intense light. He then uses intense white light flares to blind his opponent while he movies in for a quick kill. He is quick and agile, and his skills have gotten so good that he has left the great northern forests to join Pew-Trid Skunk fighting for Delta Chameleon. He has a small squad of light weight martial artist battle beasts under his command, including Hare-Razing Rabbit, Squirrely Squirrel, Eager Beaver and Diving Duckbill. He has since become a trusted warrior to Delta Chameleon, and trains his squad tirelessly so that they may be ready the next time King Cobra and his Triple Threat Snakes and Ninja Blitzkrieg Bats attack.

The Duck on the other hand is not so cool of a figure. I like his bladed left hand. And that's about it. He's a battle beast, so I just naturally like him, but I can't get over the baby duck color scheme. Perhaps if they went with an adult color choice like brown with a green head maybe. The sculpt is pretty nice in making him look like a little duck, but doesn't do much to make him look like a warrior. In my storyline, he is really evil and really bitter that everyone just thinks he's a cute baby ducky. But while they underestimate him, he uses it to his advantage. That's all I got for him.

So I had to vote for Dragoon Raccoon.

The Duck seemed like the lesser of two evils, kinda interesting but too many ideas mixed together at once and an inexplicable duckling appearance. And of course, yet another made-up vaguely axe-looking weapon.

like the zebra, the racoon seems rather half finsihed with only one colour scheme he has a weird left hand (not as weird as the ducks mind you). The duck looks kinda goofy but i like it's vibrant colours and baldy little head.

I voted for the duck, he has a odd name too which i find rather cool... and his weapon doesnt look like a giant maple leaf

The raccoon at least has personality on his side due the smirk he displays. He strikes me as a joker or sneaky..or both. In any event the left arm could be useful (lobbing grenades, blessing other animals , the generic rapper hand wave when on the mic, etc.).

He wins by default as i see no redeeming qualities in the duck except the left arm blade.



On one hand going with the traditional rubber duck colors and look probably boosted sales with people looking for a unique item back in the day (my how rubber ducky has changed over the years) but ultimately they literally painted that duck into a corner by making him look like what he is..a rubber duck.
